“We had an exceptional experience. This was our first time dining at Capital Grille, Whippany and it was perfect from start to finish. The food was perfectly cooked. We each got steak and it was cooked exactly as requested. The sides were delicious (creamed spinach & roasted mushrooms), the shrimp cocktail was one of the best I've had. The presentation was beautiful. We were never rushed, the pace of the dinner was relaxing and enjoyable. Our server, Luisa G. was wonderful! She was attentive without hovering, she had the perfect personality for her job, she was personable, friendly, professional and helpful. The interactions with other staff members were also very positive. We also enjoyed the quiet, sophisticated ambiance. If you're looking for a true steak house experience this is it.“

“BISTRO D' AZUR!!! Honestly, this place is something else. You can tell straight away the chef isn’t just cooking—he’s creating. Every plate that came out looked like a bit of art and tasted even better. Flavours were bold but balanced, portions just right, and you can tell top-quality ingredients are being used. The menu? Pure joy from start to finish. Big shoutout to the staff too—they were on point the whole evening. Friendly without being overbearing, knew the menu inside out, and recommended a wine pairing that worked magic with the mains. You don’t always get service this smooth, but here it just felt effortless, like they actually care if you're having a good time (because they clearly do). The vibe inside is lush—low lighting, calm music, proper relaxed without trying too hard. You could come for a celebration or just a date night out and it would fit either way. “My friends and I have season tickets at the Papermill and always go to the Carriage House for dinner before the show. It is a cozy little place and they do not rush you at all. It is so much better to sit and enjoy a cup of tea after dinner and not have to rush into the theatre. Giovanna has been our waitress many times and is so wonderful and makes you feel like you are the only diners she is waiting on. On this visit I had the parsip and chestnut soup, roasted chicken and coconut snowball. In past I have had the short ribs, pork chop as well as the duck and all have been fabulous. The chef takes pride in his food and always comes out to ensure everyone is happy. I can't wait until the next show and dinner.“
