The staff was very friendly and the portions are a good size for the price. Unfortunately that is about the best I can say for this place. All of the dishes (beef, chicken and fish) we had were over cooked and over spiced. Maybe the over spicing of the food is just how they make it but I can't imagine over cooked and dried out meat is what they intended.

I have to be honest, Kabul Kabob & Gyro came as a bit of a surprise to me. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. In fact, I've been back twice since my first visit. My usual gyro/kebab place is a popular establishment a few minutes up the road in Lake Hiawatha. I've been going there for years, and I'm still a big fan of that restaurant, but a few things mentioned in the Yelp reviews for Kabul Kabob & Gyro really made me want to give them a try. Obviously, it's always exciting to try any new place, but the comments about the generous portion sizes and the less expensive prices made me all the more curious. I was also encouraged by those who praised the friendliness and positive attitude of the employees. Happily, I can say that all of that was 100% accurate. One of things I especially liked was their willingness to accommodate my dietary needs. Currently, I'm going low carb, so I didn't want rice or fries (and honestly, I just didn't want the salad). I just wanted to order a lamb gyro platter, with just the meat and nothing else (other than the white sauce). With a smile and an almost infectious happiness, the gentleman working the counter said "no problem". He showed me two portion sizes, a large and small. I chose the small, which as you can see from my picture, was actually pretty large. It took a few minutes to come out, because they don't just cut the gyro meat off the spit and plate it; they cut it into pieces and grill it, which gives every bite a nice crunch while still staying moist inside. It's served with a generous drizzle of their own white sauce, which I liked very much. The hot sauce you see in the picture I added (because hot sauce makes everything better). I should mention that the gyro platter here is just that, gyro meat and nothing else (other than the rice or salad it comes with). The other gyro place I mentioned earlier grills their gyro platter with lamb (or chicken), peppers, onions, mushrooms and bits of pita. That may explain the price difference. Sometimes though, simple is a good thing, and this is one of those cases. The food was hot and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. And most importantly, the employees were a genuine pleasure to interact with. I look forward to my next visit, and I highly recommend you give Kabul Kabob & Gyro a try.

My first time eating a gryo sammage was in 1976 New York City and it was the best, yesterday I made the mistake of having a platter, it was overcooked and didn't taste anything like a gryo BUT I will give this place a second chance bcoz the cheese fries where outrageously delicious

We ordered a mixed gyro platter, gyro sandwich, chicken sandwich, and a chicken salad. The salad was basic, not impressed, but everything else was amazing! Our only mistake was using door dash, which took 2hrs instead of the original 30 mins. Next time I’ll pick up the food myself. I will definitely keep ordering here! It was delicious! Their rice had the perfect amount of seasoning. I will make sure they make mine spicy next time.

This food was just perfect. The staff there are so nice. It’s a middleeastern/ American spot. I had the chicken kabab and lamb platter, the seasoning was perfect and the lamb was very juicy. It took some time to cook the kabab but that’s normal. I have patience. Definitely coming back here.

Lamb gyro platter came in hot and fast. It was cooked just the way I like it, seasoned perfectly and the ratio between the rice and meat was on point. The salad was fresh enough. The place was clean. Came in starving, left satisfied. Overall a good dining experience.

Amazing place! The waiter was very kind and our food came quickly! It tasted super delicious, fresh and warm. The portions were really large, and the chicken and lamb was very juicy and well seasoned. I absolutely enjoyed the food here and will definitely come again. 10/10 all in all.

Lots of choices including sandwiches. Other than Mediterranean foods, it has an American flair. The staff is very nice.

Take way to long to make your food. And when you ask for anything extra you never receive it. Always double check your order before leaving if you are taking it to go. Asked for no raisins on many occasions.....still got raisins. Food is still delicious. Just could be sped up a bit.

Not sure what happened... Maybe an off night with new people who don't know what they are doing. I ordered the lamb kabob on salad and also ordered the garlic tandoori extra. After 30 minutes waiting I was brought my food. It was some kind of meat on rice with a half of a pita. The server walked away and came back and said "oh you ordered salad let me make it"He returned a few minutes later with the plate of salad with the same meat picked off of the rice and the same half pita bread cut in pieces with garlic this time. LOL. I won't say that it didn't taste good, but definitely not worth $18.

Food is good but I don’t understand why they charge extra for like white sauce or hot sauce 50 cents? Really that’s not necessary other places will give you a bag full for free I never seen a place that charges extra for sauces in little cups
