Business lunch. Lobster salad was waterlogged lobster, tasteless and probably previously frozen. Last time I was there I had sliced ribeye steak sandwich. Totally dried out but was great the fist time I had it there. Disappointing and inconsistent. Not what you want when bringing clients.

A Perfect Birthday Celebration! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and a variety of great options. I updated my reservation to include a birthday celebration, and everything was handled seamlesslyâlike clockwork! Our server, Carl, was an absolute gem: attentive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. He made my girlfriend feel so special, wishing her a happy birthday at least five times throughout the evening! The atmosphere was festive, the service impeccable, and the experience unforgettable. I'll definitely be coming backâand again, bringing first-timers with me to share the magic. Highly recommend!

This is one of me and my wife's favorite restaurants, although we will no longer be ordering steak here. They have botched every steak we've ordered over the last year and a half. I just can't justify a $400 dinner when our steaks are cooked wrong or over salted. I still love the atmosphere, the drinks, the seafood, etc. We will be coming back, but no longer for steaks.

I absolutely love The Capital Grille in Cherry Hill, NJ, but I have never been treated by a restaurant the way I was treated tonight at the East Hanover location. My family and I were trying to have a special celebration, and I accidentally messed up with the reservation and we ended up not having one. Having worked in multiple restaurants myself, I know that when something like this happens, the standard response is empathy, understanding, and at least a touch of human courtesy. I was not expecting a table, but at the very least an offering to book for another night, or directing us to the bar.
Instead, we were met with coldness. There were five people standing behind the front desk, and not one of them offered a smile, a greeting, or even a simple âwelcome.â The complete lack of care and professionalism was shocking â especially for a restaurant that prides itself on fine dining and hospitality.
All Iâll say to Capital Grille is this: be careful who you hire to represent your establishment at the front desk. First impressions matter, and this experience was unacceptable.
Very disappointing experience. My family and I accidentally made our reservation wrong, and the way the staff handled it made us feel completely belittled. We politely asked if there was any way we could still be seated, but instead of being understanding, they talked down to us and made us feel unwelcome. For a place that claims to offer fine dining, the service was rude and unprofessional. Honestly, the food isnât even that good lmao save yourself the trouble and go to 1776

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at The Capital Grille in Parsippany, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special â our table was beautifully decorated, they gave me a rose, and surprised us with complimentary champagne and dessert. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal.
Dinner was fantastic â everything from the appetizers to the entrees was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. It was such a memorable evening, and we canât wait to come back. Highly recommend for any occasion!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my anniversary here. The service was amazing from the time we walked in. We had a reservation for 7:45 and it was a little busy so there was a little wait. When we got to the table I was greeted with a nice note and a rose for my anniversary. This was very thoughtful and set the atmosphere. Our server Luisa is a beautiful and kind young lady. My husband and I were very grateful for her. Now onto the food, the appetizers we had were the calamari and the lobster crab cakes, both were amazing. For entrees, I had the NY strip and my husband had the Porterhouse. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and had the perfect salt crust. We ended the night with a beautiful desert plate to celebrate our occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and the service from the lovely staff members.
