I've eaten at The Capital Grille -Parsippany dozens of times since it opened. Lunch meetings, dinner with friends, and even enjoyed a fair amount of their wine dinners. This time we want to try something different: We just ordered seafood. No steak. And, we were not disappointed at all. Yes, we will still order steaks at Capital Grille, but it's also a great place to go for seafood.

Food was decent but waaaayyyy overpriced. It was our anniversary so we were treated like royalty but the food was nothing to write home about. We had onion dip with caviar, filet, bone in ribeye, asparagus and scalloped potatoes. They gave us a really nice champagne toast with 2 small desserts. Without a gift card would never have chosen this restaurant.

What a great experience at Capitale Grille. I went there for a business lunch and the experience from start to finish was great. Our server was nice and attentive and gave us space and present at the same time. The food was delicious too (special mention for the truffle chips…)I wish I got a picture of the lovely cheescake I got for desert but it was too good so I eat it without taking a picture. But super happy for my time there. I will be back and defo recommend.

This was hands down the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. From the moment we were seated until we walked out. We celebrated our 12 anniversary tonight, and I don't think we got treated this well on our honeymoon lol!! Our table had an anniversary card, heart confetti, they brought us complimentary champagne, a rose and even dessert. It was just so so very special. The food was very tasty! The Doli martini was perfect. The best part was definitely the cold seafood appetizer platter! We also had the calamari that was spicy but so good. Food was cooked well (we had steak and seafood risotto)! The desserts were so flavorful, I really enjoyed them and I'm typically not a dessert kinda gal! I've never walked out of a restaurant so wow'd like I did tonight, you truly get what you pay for! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so special.

Went for a birthday celebration. We had Giovanni as our server. He was attentive and did a fantastic job. We all went for the “generous pour” wine pairing. Service was spectacular. All the wine was properly described. The food was cooked perfectly. To top it off the crème brûlé was outstanding

Been here many times including for the generous pour. Tonight was off… Firstly they wouldn’t pour and it’s supposed to be generous. We had to beg for more than 2 ounces and they would never give you more than three varietal glasses at a time. Our appetizers came out and they were wonderful. We had the lamb chops special, grilled shrimp scampi special, tuna tartar, bacon, some salads. All of them were fabulous. A bit off on some of the cooks on individual entrées. Either over or undercooked on the steaks and by the time the Server came by to check it was a way too late to send them back. Desserts were quite good. Our biggest complaint for the evening was truly the lack of generosity in the pour and the service. You can’t call yourself “the generous pour” and then be stingy. After 10 years of making this an annual event for our our group of 12, we’re not sure we will return next year.
