Pollos El Chevere offers delicious food with generous portions. The ceviche with shrimps and chicken barbeque are highly recommended. The purple corn drink is a must-try. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing good service. The restaurant is clean, with a nice and quiet location that can accommodate large parties. Parking is easy to find nearby, although some customers felt a bit uneasy due to a few homeless people outside. The food quality is exceptional, with dishes like Papa a la huancaina and ceviche praised for their freshness and flavor. The place has a classic style that brings back childhood memories of Peruvian flavors. While the seafood soup could be improved with more variety, overall, it’s a great place to dine on a budget, with a full bar available.
