4 out of 5 stars. I've visited this place on numerous occasions and even had their food catered for my birthday celebration. Tonight, I dined with a group of five. We waited for an hour and a half to be seated, followed by another hour for our food to arrive. While the food is tasty, it's not worth waiting over two hours. The manager gave us complimentary tea, but overall, the experience falls short of a perfect score for me.

Bad customer service. I ordered chicken shawarma with burma for take out. At home I discovered that they didn’t include the sweet burma. When I called them he said I need to speak with the manager, but never been able to speak with anyone even after multiple calls and leaving a recorded message. Very bad customer service

This place was one of my favorite Arabic spots, I guess with all the hype around them they forgot their roots. Last few times I have been here the food quality was not the best and it seemed to me as if they changed the meat quality,I still decided to give them a try again this weekend. I arrived with my family and was told that there is an hour wait which was not a problem, we waited just to get skipped over multiple times and when I addressed the host he informed me it is going to be about another 30-45 mins which does not make sense to me! Only reason it is not a one star is because I was truly a regular customer and always brought my family to you guys but after these last few bad experiences I decided it’s time

Mashallah, we ordered Haneeth and we ordered salad and grape leaves. The food is amazing and tastes great ??????
Superb all around!!! This place happened to be recommended to me by 2 different sources, so I was excited to finally go... weekends currently are walk in only and we did have to wait awhile but it was well worth it!!! We sat and they immediately gave us fresh pita!! We knew exactly what we wanted so ordered quickly! Hummus was velvety and fantastic! We had the meat paties and the grill for 2, chicken shwarma and a steak shwarma!!! Everything was delicious including the seasoned fries!! Def try the mint lemonade which was so fresh and minty!! The wait staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommended.
Love love love his place! My second time here and it did not disappoint. The pita is warm and fresh, complimentary for the table with a side of veggies. For drinks we tried the mint lemonade which was delicious I love how herbaceous and refreshing it was. For starters, we tried the falafel and fried cauliflower- DELICIOUS. I especially loved the cauliflower but wish there was more of the creamy sauce. Falafel had good flavor and was perfectly crispy. For our main entree we did the platter for 2 and loved each meat except for the filet mignon - it was a bit too overcooked for our preference. The rice, perfectly cooked and delicious. The cucumber tomato salad is the perfect match for the dish as well. The first time I came here, I had the spread of dips and loved each one, so fresh and delicious. My son ordered a cheeseburger and liked it but I know next time he can't wait to dig into the platter with us. Service was decent, we did have to call them over a few times but otherwise welcoming and friendly. Ambience is chill but very nice modern restaurant I love the atmosphere and decor.

Al-Basha is a wonderful, essential restaurant in Clifton/Patterson NJ. It features some of the most flavorful food around, great service and a spacious modern atmosphere (now with an outdoor area in the back.) Note that parking isn't necessarily easy but (as is applicable for the general area) you should be able to find side street parking without too much hassle.We had the Mix Mashawi, Hummus, Labna, Basha Fries, and Falafel wrap. Everything was excellent and while there's a lot of meat available, the vegetarian options are also quite enjoyable. The star of the show however might be something that's technically not even on the menu- the Mint Lemonade. I cannot overstate how amazing this drink is (if you look around, you'll see the waiters almost exclusively carrying these to every table- that should tell you all you need to know.)Al-Basha is one of those places where you can't go wrong with what you order. I'm happy to recommend this restaurant and personally can't wait to go back.Parking: Don't even bother with the main street, try the side streets and be ready for a short walk (but it's not too bad.)
Great food. Our only complaint was they don't allow you to bring in wine. That was a first for a restaurant that doesn't have a liquor license.
Depending when you go it can get crowded with a long wait time.
