This dessert shop is such a gem in this Palestine nabe! They serve the best kunefe I’ve had — crispy, cheesy, and absolutely satisfying every time. I enjoyed the baklava also with its perfectly sweetness and flakiness. Add to that is the affogato, which pairs perfectly with the desserts.
Even more special is watching the staff prepare the baklava and kunefe — it feels like watching an artist perform a zen ritual. Coming all the way from Vietnam on and off, but whenever I’m nearby, I always make sure to stop in. It’s become one of my must-visit spots for a sweet treat!
Very tasty baklava but they are scammers unfortunately. They have tried to overcharge me and my family on 3 separate occasions and pretend it is an accident
Such a cute little place! My first time having Turkish delicacies and coffee. I really enjoyed the Turkish coffee and kunefe cheese!
They’ve listed a $35 breakfast on the menu, but the portions are extremely small. On top of that, they’re adding a $1 “printed” fee to every item without informing you. How is it legal to charge extra without my consent? Be cautious ! the management is clearly using shady practices to deceive customers.
It’s our third visit to this place, and we came here today specifically for their kunafe, and as usual, they didn’t disappoint us. We had lavender lemonade, maras pistachio ice cream, and Turkish tea. The ambiance and their service were absolutely exceptional.
I had such a great experience at Baklava Home! The Hasır Künefe was absolutely amazing – perfectly crispy, soft inside, and just the right level of sweetness. Easily one of the best I’ve ever tried so far.
I also really enjoyed the family-oriented environment. The warm hospitality makes you feel right at home, and it’s a wonderful place to enjoy authentic flavors with loved ones.
The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky, as there isn’t much space available nearby. But honestly, the food and atmosphere make it worth the effort.
Highly recommend!

Baklava Home Paterson is such a sweet spot! The tea here is amazing — perfectly brewed and full of flavor. And the kunafa is just incredible, fresh, cheesy, and with the perfect sweetness. Together, the tea and kunafa make the best combination and a truly authentic experience.
The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and full of delicious options. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I crave Middle Eastern desserts!
Baklava Home in Paterson is an absolute gem! The baklava here is fresh, perfectly sweet, and made with so much care that you can taste the quality in every bite. The layers are crisp and buttery, with just the right amount of filling and syrup — truly authentic and delicious. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the shop has a cozy, inviting feel. If you’re looking for the best baklava in New Jersey, this is the place to go. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Mediterranean desserts!
The Edgewater location is STUNNING! The staff is so professional and the ambiance is amazing!!!
A wonderful spot for breakfast! The pastries are fresh and delicious, the selection of olives and cheeses is excellent, and finding an authentic Turkish simit here was such a treat. The endless Turkish tea makes the whole experience even better. I had tried their desserts before, especially the baklava and it was amazing. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. A perfect place for anyone who misses the richness of a true Turkish breakfast.

I really love their breakfast! It used to be $25 but now it’s $35, with a total of $42. Still, it’s delicious, fresh, and enough for two people, no more. Definitely worth trying!
Baklava House has the best baklava I’ve ever had.The pistachio latte was also really good and worth trying. The tiramisu, however, didn’t quite meet my expectations. Still, the star of the show is definitely the baklava. I’d go back just for that!
You must definitely try the real Turkish baklava and desserts. Especially the pistachio baklava — I can say it’s the best I’ve had in America. If you enjoy Turkish breakfast, this is also where I’ve had the most variety and highest quality products in America. Wishing you continued success...
I visited your cafe for breakfast today. I loved the thoughtful breakfast of chef Ms. Ayşe. We shared our morning joy with his smiling face. I thank him very much.
We had a turkish breakfast there. It was good and the staff were helpful. The plate was so small for the items.
