What a disgrace. Not the Brownstone of yester-year. People are just nasty. Tap water on the table tasted like 200% chlorine. Food looked good but taste like it was cooked in the chlorine water. Why? Just why would anyone book this place for any event? Especially weddings. For heaven's sake... people stop booking this place...it's just disgusting. Save your money ...yes, yes I know its pretty but now it's pretty disgusting - you can do better than this nonsense. The Brownstone should be ashamed of themselves but I'm sure they don't care. Disgusting. Uncaring & greedy. And no one's impressed anymore so save your money. Shame on them - it was once so beautiful. I have to believe any 5 star review is just fake.

Foods good, staff is excellent. The only negative I saw was the grounds need a good clean up, to much litter around the property. A great place for any function.

EASTER 2024 was a complete disaster. The one buffet line for multiple rooms. The noise level. The round table for 12 and we were 17 (guests left to make room). The herd of people entering and leaving at the same time. The buffet line was a mile long, and I could go on.I will never go back to celebrate a holiday. It's mind-numbing to me how these experienced caterers thought this was a good idea.

Our family had Easter dinner 2022 at the Brownstone. The buffet line was reasonable, the food was abundant, and my family enjoyed the activities provided. We came again this year, Easter, 2024. What an awful experience. The line was so long to check in. My family never ate all together. It was a feeding frenzy. The lines were so long. We spent most of our time waiting on the lines to get food. They ran out of food, ran out of plates, and ran out of flatware. I witnessed many people grabbing food with their hands because there were no serving utensils. UGH!!! The servers were nasty. The people were nasty with each other. It looked like they turned no one down. The dining room was so overcrowded. You had to push and shove to get to your table. Our table was opposite the stairway. If there was a fire, my family would not have made it out. The photographer never made it into the dining room. The menu advertised lamb. There was no lamb to be found. Or did we miss it? We requested a high chair and asked several times while we were there. We never got it. The elevator was broken so my handicapped sister had to walk up the stairs. We really looked forward to our dinner there and we happy to leave. Next year, they will have an open table of 14. I would rather cook at home!!!!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but it's important to highlight our Easter family event experience. It was evident the 2-hour brunch was significantly overbooked. The buffet line chaos extended into the dining areas, complicating navigation and diminishing personal space, with diners uncomfortably close while eating. Staff members ranged from indifferent to outright discourteous, with seemingly responsible individuals providing no support—a thorough disappointment.Compounding our dismay, a disabled family member was inconveniently directed away from accessible areas, and to make matters worse, the elevator was non-operational. On a positive note, those who managed to stay reported the food was enjoyable, though many stations were depleted by the time the lines dwindled. Half of my family left midway. This experience was a stark contrast to the rave reviews we'd heard. Another family we recognized shared that this was not their usual experience. Nearby guests mentioned lodging complaints with the owner. Overall, it was a disheartening experience that fell short of expectations.

Easter 2024. Disaster is a nice way of putting it. Room was OVERCROWDED! Line for buffet was 25-30 minutes long, and when you got up there, trays were empty. They ran out of plates and when the lady behind me told someone, he just shrugged. We had to pay for my 2 year old daughter, but they had no kid friendly food. I went up once and was so disgusted with the whole experience, that I didn’t even go back for more. Didn’t even want dessert, just wanted to get the he11 out of there! Never again! 20+ people in my family go out for Easter, and we will bring out business elsewhere. Way to show how greedy you are Brownstone.

My mother made reservations for our family for Easter this year and it was by far the worst experience especially with two young children. The earlier times must have been running late because they were leaving as a huge crowd of people were arriving, multiple rooms were directed to the only buffet at the same time, hot trays of food were being rushed through crowds of people with kids… it was completely unsafe. The kicker here is that this place is expensive and yet no one wanted to get up to get food or go back for more because of the constant crowds. This must be how they make money. My brother asked to order an adult drink and he was told he had to go to a different room to the cash bar. Why is gratuity included in our bill when the server did nothing but bring pitchers of soda at the beginning of the meal ONCE?My daughter who’s is 2 and had to be paid for didn’t even eat because there was nothing kid friendly and if there was it wasn’t seen. Maybe they ran out like how they ran out of plates. This could have been avoided if this was planned better. Multiple people were overheard saying “ it was not like this last year” “I will never come back here.” We will not be returning either. Overall this was a disaster and very disappointing.

Went for Easter 2024 and it was the worst experience. We paid almost 150.00 for 2 people for a 2 o'clock seating. The room was so packed you could not even sit to eat your meal without getting bumped by someone waiting on line for food. We never had a server come to our table and offer soda or coffee nor did we see anyone serving Hors D'oeuvre which were to be included with meal. The lines for the food were so long and congested it made it impossible to enjoy the holiday. They ran out of plates numerous times. We never saw our server so our entire table had to bus our own table to make room for dessert. It is a shame that apparently making money by packing people in , is more important than having your customer's enjoy the holiday . We were not the only guests complaining. I normally do not write reviews but felt it needed to be shared, while I understand holidays are busy and with a crowd you need to have patience but this went above the tolerance of being understanding. I felt bad for the servers as many people were complaining and yelling at them.

Overall I would give it a good review. Service was great food was good. I was disappointed that there was no lamb at the carving station, even though it was advertised on your menu and on the website.

The amazing thing is that the Brownstone delivers hundreds of servings at a quality level as if each were prepared for a visiting dignitary at a state banquet by a world famous chef.

The food was really good. There were several leaks inside the facility. One was in our event room. One of the tables (the main table of the event hosts) collapsed, pouring everything onto the floor. The leg of the table was not completely secured ... The room seemed too small for the event.
