I’ve always loved double nickel and have been coming here for some time, but this was the first time I ever left feeling annoyed by one of the bartender. He carded my friend who is newly 21 and he did a double take at her ID, I’m assuming because it’s a vertical. He claimed that it was a 25+ establishment (where does it say that anywhere?) and told her next time, word of advice to not order kids chicken tenders. (I guess ordering kids meal means...
Wonderful spot to visit if you are local or even coming over the bridge from the city. Very friendly staff and high quality beer. Always something new on tap as well as their classics which never come out of rotation.
Food is fairly priced and compliments the drink well. Often have live music, things to do inside, nice outside seating.

We purchased the catering package for 75 people that included Caesar salad, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, and pizza. Throughout the night, numerous guests told us they were unable to get food, and several left hungry....
