Famous Sgt Bob Smoke BBQ and Grill

My first time eating at this restaurant. Saw a video of it on YouTube. Jl Jupiter. Decided to give it a try. Wasn't disappointed with the items I selected. Will definitely be back.

Was visiting my brother in the area during 4th of July and stopped by here for lunch. I will 100% be back when I come back for the holidays. The owner and I had a great 15 minute conversation about travel to my home state (NC) and she was so incredibly kind.

Hands down some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had. The chicken and pork adobo and garlic rice were OUTSTANDING.

I had lunch for the first time at the famous Sgt. Bob BBQ in Pennsville, NJ, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The Filipino food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with care. It’s a family-owned restaurant, and you can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and very accommodating, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The place was also spotless, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the prices were very affordable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone craving great Filipino food in a welcoming setting.

Delicious food, I always get the same things, but I know I’d eat everything on the menu. Everything is fresh. Family business and the owners are very sweet. It’s my boyfriend’s favorite place to get food! Also, as a Hispanic, the plantains are perfect. Sweet and a little crispy. The mac n cheese is also yummy 😋 I’ve started going to the gym nearby, so I will probably be coming more often, perfect meal to have after the gym, white rice and their chicken. Healthy, tasty, and filling. I made my Filipino stepmom drive an hour to come here and she approves. Prices are reasonable. You are paying for real food. If you are hungry and in the area, stop by, you will not be disappointed!

Went there for the first time. They're very friendly. The food, however, misses the mark. I had the brisket sandwich. First, it was piled high on the roll, way too much. But it was so stringy and tough, I couldn't bite through it and half would come out of the roll. I couldn't even eat it with a fork. Way to costly for something I couldn't eat. My husband said the ribs were okay. Sadly, we won't go back.

Food and service are really good but it is very expensive and the pulled pork is hard as a rock other then that good job. They also did a good job redoing the new building they bought.
