“Heard about this chicken spot through a family member and came here and ordered the 2 piece with the empanadas as they sell tons of stuff here a regular chicken shop don’t, loved my service and the food was great, definitely one of the best ones in Perth Amboy! Would recommend this place out of the rest.“

“I’ve been ordering from Jezif bi-monthly at minimum and every time has been through Uber Eats. They deserve a shout out. I’ve never physically been there but based off the menu I get chicken shack / halal vibes. The first thing id like to address is their consistency. It’s got to be an unbiased 9.8/9.9. The portions are great. The food is always fresh (possibly because I always request fresh chicken and rice) but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The food is flavorful and the one thing I truly appreciate with the attention to detail. Any special requests I have had have always been honored and accurate. The rice and chicken platter is my go to, with extra chicken of course (not that it’s needed because the portions are great for the price point). It’s worth paying the little extra. White sauce is always fresh. Chicken is always succulent and well cooked. Rice has never been dry or stale. The fried chicken is an elevated version of what you’d get from most “chicken shacks”. They just consistent deliver at a great price point. And again, I’ve only ever ordered through Uber Eats but the product is always hot and fresh. Beef patties are great. This is a great local spot and I won’t stop ordering even if they let me down once or twice… which they haven’t !!! You order a dinner platter and you have an easy two satisfying meals out of it. I love this spot !!! Excellent quality, quantity and an attention to detail which never goes unnoticed. The only flaw in my eyes is that the banana pudding isn’t that good and they don’t have a hot sauce hot enough available through the delivery app. All in all, I’ll happily keep giving them my money in exchange for the excellence they give in return. (a friend insists to stop at different Popeyes, says Perth Amboy makes chicken the best of all)

“I went yesterday and I’ll never order the steak there again but I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone. I have heart failure and I got sick on the steak. So it’s my fault not theirs. I really enjoyed the steak, sweet bananas and salad. The portions were average, it filled me up. I’m glad I didn’t order the larger bowls, I’d be overstuffed. My friend did though. I usually don’t like well done steak but this one was very well prepared. My husband and my friends also enjoyed the food. 4 of us went. The lady behind the counter was wonderful and very helpful. The place was crazy crowded but civil. The atmosphere was great. I loved the artificial palm tree. Definitely going again but going for lower sodium options like chicken next time. 100% recommend.“

This chicken i bought though... Hot dam. I like my arroz con gandules better but that does not mean theirs is bad. So many places don't seem to know the water ratio. I have zero complaints. If you're lucky, you too can get some fried whiting then meander on over to Bayway Liquor to get a 30 rack from Ponytail Ronnie. “Been there few times for open play and my daughter's friend bday party, very friendly staffs , kids have amazing time there.
Food are very good, I always go back to order my chicken wings and fries, very crispy .Chicken sandwich are also very delicious, they really make it same as the pic in the menu, instead of just giving u a soggy and nasty fried grease food, Both Boba tea and fruit tea are very good, very refreshing. My fav is dirty brown suger Boba tea. Definitely will continue ordering food there“

The PERFECT marriage of spicy and sweet. The spaghetti with hot dogs is good, and so is the adobo rice. I never thought I'd say that another place would replace the deliciousness of KFC's mashed potatoes and gravy, but Jollibee's gravy is on a completely different level. Follow everything up with a peach-mango pie or an ube pie.“
