This was my first time back to the Armory in over 3 yrs! Was thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the food and drinks! Excellent service, and weather was perfect for semi outside dining. I'll definitely return sooner then later.
Service was excellent, and the menu and specials were plenty. The ambiance was nice, noise moderate, but a slower night. The table settings were very classy, only issue I had was that it was so beautiful set, but received the bread dip oil, which was delish came in a plastic cup? The app was mussels in a garlic wine sauce, very meaty and tasty. The meal was very good, had the Grilled Jumbo shrimp, with traditional chips. Simply known as 'The Armory' this mainly seafood place has an old wartime feel, big brick building with lots of windows along the water/pier/outside bar. We walked in and were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. Amazing menu, nothing bad at all (four of us all tried different items), the calimari is not overly crunch, the pork chops were thick and well cooked/cut, I had jumbo shrimp, but the word jumbo doesn't do the dish justice.
