The Barge Restaurant And Banquet Facility

Hubby & his bandmates (the DiscoTeks) are performing at Bayview Park. We had lunch at this restaurant. Hubby had a broiled seafood platter (scallops, shrimp & scrod). I had the shrimp salad platter. Everything was fresh & tasty; even the sides (potato salad, coleslaw, etc.).

Service was excellent but they pack them in way too tight....dinner flounder franchise was terrible, the only thing good was dessert

Everything from the salad to the cappuccino was wonderful. Very fresh and wonderful flavors. The home fries were just like my
Grandfathers!! Grecian Stuffed Flounder was excellent.

We had gone for an early dinner on Valentine’s Day. The service for what the one gentleman who took our orders, brought them out, bused tables and remade them was amazing. It took a while but when the only person on it is to be expected but wrong on the establishments part. We unfortunately won’t be returning as more for another reason. All well I will say is be careful.

Service was great. Oysters were good. The rest of the food was could have been better.

We gave a friend a ride to Perth Amboy and decided to go to The Barge for lunch. We ate at the bar and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the camaraderie at the bar was outstanding. We felt like we were having lunch with old friends. We look forward to returning to enjoy the food and the company.
