I lived in Perth amboy, to Woodbridge, back to amboy for the past 32 years. My favorite place to eat. I’ve seen this place look like every other place and slowly put paint on the walls, setup outdoors, start putting roosters everywhere and that speaks to me. Someone putting their heart into something and growing from it.

The place is not fancy, but what they lack in decor they make up in their amazing food. It's authentic Puerto Rican food. They prepare foods thst most people wouldn't just prepare due to the amount of time it takes to prepare. As a Puerto Rican, I highly recommend this restaurant. I've eaten here several times and have catered several family parties. And you know it must be good if we cater from them. Try their alcapurria or empanadas. Their arroz con gandules...

Food is amazing. The staff is so kind and friendly. Price is great for the food too. Loved the arroz con gandules, carne guisada and the empanada de pollo. My daughter loves the pizza empanadas.
