Taste just like Home-cooked dominican. Im a gringo but I know home-cooked Dominican well. To clear up , they have a spot in Hopelawn nj and Perth amboy. Both on new Brunswick ave. Amboys is across from City Hall. Hopelawn is across from Superfresh grocery store. (Pathmark) Empanadas are killer , breakfast sandwiches are bomb. Dinner is amazing. I had mofonfo w pork shrimp w white sauce. Excellent!! Oh and the chicken soup. Im eating that right now. Amazing. Full chicken legs...
Fantastic sandwich, empanadas also great, very affordable and yummy, stumbled upon the spot and very glad I did. Would happily pass by again! Would post pic but I was hungry and it was delicious.
Very small place. Not much room. Food is good but service can be better. They seem to run out of empanadas quickly because of their popularity. Wish they had better sauces for their empanadas
