Not sure what happened here. I have not been to Gao Sheng in a long while. The dumplings used to be fantastic. These taste ok. But not sure why they were made this way. I'm guessing they had the wrong shells. But they should mention it before you order. Guess it will be a long time again before I come back. If ever. Get back to the way you used to be, quality has gone downhill.
This used to be a good place to get food. My family would order once a month, but in the last two years we have not had a positive experience in the four take-out orders we’ve placed.. There was chicken in maybe 4/20 pieces of general tso’s chicken they provided. All four times. It’s just disappointing. I guess it’s easy to cut corners when you’re the only place in town.

They have really been great lately. New frier makes general tso crispy the way it should be. The lomein and steamed dumplings are perfect now and not flat. They have listened to the customers and started putting out better quality food. Give them another chance cause otherwise you'll have to go many miles for the same quality elsewhere. The portions are not quite as plentiful as other places, and they do not have lunch specials before 3pm like Chinese restaurants usually have....read full review
