We were in Ac from Pa & said how about a lil road trip & nostalgia... this Roy Rogers is great! It's just like the 80's. The server Ms Flo was AWESOME! & we even chatted up with another couple that was on their way to AC from New York. I don't know when I'll be back because it's a distance but I sure hope they stay open! My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Roy Rogers for Pine Beach, our 125th town.

I haven't seen a Roy Rogers since the 90s. Apparently, this is one of only two left in Jersey! We broke our rule of not stopping at chain restaurants to take a trip down memory lane at Roys.

I stop by here for a late dinner almost once a week, and it's always very good. Management could probably play something other than boring black & white oldies at that time, but we all have cell phones.
Someday, i'm gonna get up enough courage to ask that redhead out somewhere too.
