“I must say this 1st, that I was treated very well at Italian Village. There was a mishap with my order. I called and the owner Kristin listen to what had happened. She said that it would be fixed that very moment. So with that being said, I was told to come back to Italian Village to pick up my Chicken cheese steak. The way I like it, so this A is for satisfying a customer. Another A for the taste of the sandwich. At the end of all this, giving someone the benefit of the doubt is important. My sandwich was really good 👍.Don't forget to try that Grand Ma pizza.“

“Have heard a lot a good things about this place for the Scary Good Eats App.. You definitely have to have a game plan if you want anything here. Parking is not fun since you are in the heart of Rutgers. You have to hope you can snag a spot out front. The place itself is very small, no indoor seating, just order and you are on your way. Was not a cheap lunch for 2 sandwiches and some fries. Around $50 I believe. The sandwiches were good. Got the basic Cheeseteak with the Cooper Sharp. It was an exact amount of meat and cheese to fill the roll, which was soft and fresh. Was a solid Cheeseteak. The fries were very good as well. I will go back, but not out of my way. Very Good job for a new business.“

“We are lucky in New Jersey to have some many great local pizza places, but Gennaro's is a step above most. Their pizza is extremely good, both as slices bought from the counter and as whole pies. It's really as good as pizza gets. In addition to pizza, their sandwiches and meals are great. Their cheesesteaks are excellent, as are chicken dishes, etc. I've never had anything less than an "A" experience at Gennaro's. If you want to take people from out of state to teach them what pizza is supposed to taste like, take them here.“

“No longer in actual food trucks, but they taste the same. Their service is quick. Still the best fat sandwiches I’ve bought. Everywhere else is just a copy. A staple in the grease trucks community that you have to try at least once. Whenever I’m around Rutgers I have to get one. Fat Nini w/ extra honey mustard!“
