“This place is excellent. Keep in mind its cash only, with an ATM located inside. My first time there was sort of forced, when i was younger i was not open to different food like this. Now i find myself at this establishment multiple times a month. This time i had the saint patty day special. Corned beef with cabbage, and potato soup. Very good. Also tried the brat salad (i think it was called) which is german bologna with tomatos, onions, and maybe cucumber. It was extremely good. The kartoffelpuffers (potato pancakes) are amazing, the spatzel (fried german noodles) are my favorite. And the beef stew is like no other. Ive never had anything bad off this menu. The desserts are great as well.”

If you’re on the hunt for bold flavors, generous portions, and a truly satisfying meal, this gyro/platter spot should be at the top of your list.

I went with the mixed platter over rice and it hit every mark. The meats were cooked to perfection: juicy, well-seasoned, and with that perfect smoky edge. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the toppings fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickled veggies balanced the richness beautifully.

But what really pulled it all together? The sauces. The white sauce was creamy and cool, and the hot sauce had just the right amount of kick without overpowering everything else. Pro tip: ask for extra on the side — you’ll want it.

Service was fast and friendly, even during the lunch rush, and everything was made fresh to order. The portions are huge (definitely enough for two meals if you’re not starving), and the prices are super reasonable for the quality and quantity.

Less than a week before the big day, on Labor Day weekend no less, I reached to Steve, and he was AMAZING! They were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding and made everything stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious—our guests couldn’t stop talking about it (and kept going back for more!). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully set up. “The owner is awesome and the guy in the back making sandwiches is truly gifted. I worked around the corner for a couple weeks and didn’t go anywhere else for lunch, absolutely phenomenal. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, whatever you get is good. Family man as well, could sit down and talk to him for a half hour if I had the time. And he made me espresso after I got to know him. 10/10”

“We came up from Virginia for a wedding. Staying at the Hilton in Allentown. They had no food service. I didn't want food chain. So I looked up Italian and Found this restaurant. We took the drive and were glad we did. Had A large pepperoni pizza. Thin crust flavor was just what we wanted. Was the Best pizza I had in a while. You can't beat NJ pizza. This place is worth the drive. I'm originally from NJ and the pizza in Virginia is not like here.”

“Ellie's Speedway's All Star Bagel Shop & Charleston Coffee House is the best place in all of Central NJ. I've been a loyal customer for 2 years & not only do they make the greatest breakfast sandwiches we've ever had, but they have an amazing staff. Their sandwiches & cold brew beat any other shop around by far. They load you up on bacon & always have the freshest bagels you've ever tasted.
