My family wanted to try Plumsted Grill, but unfortunately we won’t be due to how food allergy questions were handled.
We have food allergies, so it’s standard for us to call ahead to confirm whether specific menu items are allergen-free. When I called, the woman on the phone initially guessed. Last night 6 of us who have been to Plumstead many times went for dinner, Food was great as always (prime rib, stuffed shrimp, champagne chicken, chicken stir-fry excellent,) On this visit however our server was not very pleasant. It started with asking for separate checks which she said she couldn't do. One guest asked for cole slaw instead of salad and she said no subs, but on previous visits we could sub.
