As many regulars of this wonderful Pompton Lakes spot know, on April 17th they had a serious fire causing the closing the business indefinitely. An incredible loss to Pompton Lakes and the many customers who called Golden Garden their regular place. I did for well over 10 years. Please keep the two wonderful ladies, if you are a regular you know who I mean, in your thoughts as they and their families chart a course forward and eventually come back from this devastating loss. I know Golden Garden and the people that worked so hard will be sorely missed by so many in Pompton Lakes. It's a very sad moment deleting this one from my speed dial. Dan S.

This place used to be amazing… if I could give it 0 stars I would. Boneless spare ribs and had more fatty pieces than meat. The generals tsaos texture was soggy, barley any flavor. Probably by far the worst Chinese food dinner that I’ve ever had. First time back in a while and will never set foot in this place again. Only ate the fried rice. Threw the rest of the food out.

Tried their combo for the first time schezwan chicken, brown rice, vegetables. It was ready so quickly, I was surprised. And the taste was amazing too. Liked the portion size, quick service and the taste.
