Love coming here either with my girlfriends, kids or by myself to do ceramics and have a little treat! This place is super unique and I'm so glad I came across it

My absolute favorite coffee shop to visit. Drinks are delicious and I find it such a calming space to get work done in. I’m always super productive when I’m there (and happily caffeinated!)

We visited Hug A Mug for ceramic painting and coffee, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The space is creative and welcoming, and the coffee was delicious, but what really stood out was the service.
The staff member working (wish I caught her name!) was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She somehow managed to take orders, make drinks, and guide us through picking out our pieces and colors, all with a smile and calm energy. It was impressive how much she multitasked during my short time there!
We had a good time, and I can’t wait to come back, especially to see how our pieces turn out! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, creative activity with great coffee ☕🎨

This little mom-and-pop coffee shop is such a cozy gem! The iced coffee is absolutely delicious—smooth, and perfectly done—but it’s the atmosphere that really makes it special. It gives off that laid-back, lounge-with-a-book kind of vibe, with ceramic painting in the back (so cute!) and a few board games scattered around. Whether you’re coming for brunch, bringing the kids, or planning a low-key date, it’s the kind of place that feels warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming.
The brownie was delicious and the coffee was perfect. Cool spot
Such a great neighborhood gem! Came here for a quick stop (mainly to get out of the house on a rainy day). It is ultra cozy, very plant-friendly, and has an awesome menu of drinks. The homemade hot chocolate hit the spot!
Did ceramics here and it was a great time! Went on a Sunday so it was really chill and not busy like I'd expected. Would definitely go again!

Feels like I'm in another town. Such a great find, nestled in pompton lakes. Very cozy vibe with live plants, couches among bookshelves, and a pottery shop towards the back. Lots of forward leaning menu choices like vanilla beetroot latte alongside classics like homemade hot cocoa.
Amazing time painting staff was super helpful 🙂
Coffee was good too
Disgusted! Was treated terribly when there are 0 people painting and my daughter wanted to paint. This girl keeps rattling off it’s our policy now you have to have a reservation again 0 people there painting. I’ve been coming for 6 years before they even moved here. Never again!!!!

I came here to study with a friend. The music was fine and low at the beginning; after a short while, they increased the volume and put on a horrible music that didn't end for an actual half hour (even more). It seems to me that they don't want us studying in here, even though there's almost nobody in the cafe. The coffee is mediocre at best; all the tables have paint marks on them. I don't recommend.
So cozy and yummy
