A beautiful fall stroll through Princeton deserves a little indulgence, and Chez Alice was just the kind of stop we were looking for.

We picked up a box of macarons, and even before tasting them, the presentation made an impression. The elegant packaging feels thoughtful and almost gift-worthy, turning a simple sweet treat into something a little more special.

But of course, pretty packaging means very little if what's inside doesn't...

PALMER SQUARE PRINCETON - Chez Alice Patisserie is a wonderful place to stop in for fabulous French pastries. The indoor seating makes it a lovely spot to meet up with a friend, enjoy a treat, and take a little break. Highly recommend!

Cakes are really, realy good (e.g. le truffon). But baguettes are not. Less good than a supermarket baguette in France. And croissant and pain au chocolat are not good enough. There are better places in Princeton for that. Also the lady at the counter is not nice.
