When you’re standing there waiting to order, no one else in the line, and you make eye contact with three different folks behind the counter… and they all ignore you.
OK, maybe they’re busy in some way I can’t see? I wait patiently. A couple of minutes later, a man gets in line behind me. The guy shuffling the bagels on display right in front of me stops and greets the person behind me line they’re long lost brothers.
