This is a very small coffee shop run by the owner and a small staff. She makes hand-crafted pastries fresh daily. The best croissant in Princeton!

The flat white tasted like burnt 3 day old coffee from a gas station that had milk in it. It was really awful.

Ok coffee, I was expecting much more having read their reviews. Should have grabbed a pastry, they did look really good. Barista seemed fairly non plussed we were there.

Best specialty coffee in Princeton and also the surrounding area. If Alex is working the bar, ask for his best pour over. All the food is also fantastic and it’s a beautiful spot to sit

This cafe is a true gem as mentioned on other reviews. I did not know what to order and the barista, Pearl, made a great recommendation.
Really enjoyed the seasonal iced rose peach tea with avocado toast. The pastries looked incredibly tempting. Those are for my next visit! Great atmosphere and service!

Espresso was way too sour, couldn’t even finish it.

It took some serious self-restraint from my devilish side to leave this review—I almost wanted to keep this place a hidden gem all to myself. But here I am :)

This cozy, quiet spot was such a lovely surprise. We tried the apple turnover, fig and ricotta toast, and goat cheese toast—everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The sourdough bread was especially good, with generous toppings that really hit the mark.

The pastry shelves were also packed with an impressive variety of beautiful, tempting treats. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a delicious Latte and smoked salmon toast this morning. High-quality and well-made. I can wholeheartedly recommend and I will be back soon.

Tried the rose pistachio coffee. It tasted like regular coffee and it was warm. Coffee is either hot or cold depending on the order! Tried some of the pastries - the passion fruit tart was ok. Very pricey overall!!!

Nice vibes, delicious almond croissant!
I might come back to try the tea sometime, but unfortunately I can’t recommend coming here if you want coffee.
The cold brews we ordered seemed like flavoured water with milk, I didn’t taste any coffee at all. Very disappointing considering how much it was.

I've been to House of Ihsan three times. I've ordered their apple turnover and croissant. Both are excellent. The croissant is the perfect balance of tender, flaky dough and buttery flavor. The apple turnover is as good as any I had in Paris. Their Americano and Espresso are both excellent. It has a relaxing vibe. You can eat inside or outside in an area facing the square in front of the public library. The service is friendly. I highly recommend House of Ihsan.

We visited Princeton and my friend ordered chocolate and tiramisu cakes for us to try during our stay. Those were the best and the smoothest texture cakes I’ve ever tried in US. Coming from Europe we are used to more subtle sweetness and these cakes were amazing. Thank you!☺️
