This is a good restaurant featuring Northwest style Chinese foods, with a great variety of noddles and soup dumplings. I am a little disappointed with some twisting they made even though I understand they need to make adjust to American customers' taste buds: Tomato paste is added in egg-tomato noddle; the crispy lamb chops are too oily/fatty.
Have been here a few times and we enjoyed it every time. Food: Soup dumplings, mapo tofu, beef noodle soups are all flavorful and good. Really good, considering this is a chain! Rice is a separate order.
Service: Sometimes the timing is off - the dumplings take a while and may come after your main course - even if you request to have dumplings as an appetizers first. But our server today was happy to accommodate requests; just make sure they understand you fully....

Other than its hand peeled noodles, all the other noodles were bought from stores, so they didn’t have much texture. Other than this, the taste was ok, though it was not completely authentic. The environment was good, being easy to talk and quiet.
