“This was our first time trying Ramen so we have nothing else to compare it too. We saw this place had great reviews, and we both love soup so we gave it a try. I had the vegetable ramen and my husband had the beef ramen. We both thought our ramen soups were very good! Next time I’d like to try one of their Thai soups. Our waitress was nice, but she didn’t speak English well so it was hard for her to explain their various soups they had. We would definitely come again. I recommend Ji Bei Chuan in Edison!“

“We had my mother’s 80th birthday party here and had a wonderful time! The restaurant is nicely decorated: an elegant Chinese theme with a modern touch. The wait staff were very attentive and accommodated to all our needs even when we were doing the decoration. Party food portion is huge. We had so much left over! The owner even came out to greet us and made sure everything is good. The Karaoke room finished the celebration with a high note! Mom was so happy and we’re dancing in the room!“

“Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. “Great little story: more than 20 years ago I found myself inexplicably single (lol) and walked into Mitsuba (Chatham) just as it opened — I might have been their second-ever customer. I scanned the menu and wanted a lot of sushi, but not the Full “Love Boat.” I told them, “I’m not in love, and that’s too much food. Can I get something about half the size and half the price?”
They brought out what you see in the photo. I was satisfied and joked, “When I come back, can we call this the Lonely Boat?” And that’s how it stuck. It isn’t on the menu, but if you walk in and ask for “Mr. Howard’s Lonely Boat,” they’ll know what you mean.
I even suggested making it a Monday special — “Lonely Boat Mondays.” Imagine single folks showing up for a Lonely Boat, striking up conversations, and maybe two lonely diners eventually turning their Lonely Boats into Love Boats. We came seeking Chinese takeout, which exceeded our expectations. They offer combo platters, which would be perfect for lunch. Their egg rolls and fried rice are both excellent rivaling what I remember growing up in Queens. We tried the sesame chicken, which was good, featuring all white meat. Their eggplant in garlic sauce was fantastic, as was the egg foo young.

The restaurant was quite large and very clean. They had adequate seating and can accommodate large parties. The staff was friendly and the service efficient. The takeout was packaged extremely well.

We have found our new local Chinese restaurant and will be returning. Highly recommend.“

“We used to come here on a weekly basis pre-Covid. Loved the food, but didn't like the service and felt the wait staff was rude.

Recently we had dinner here a few times and something has changed. The decor has been updated as has the menu and the wait staff is much, much better. In fact, they recognize us as former customers and are always happy to see us. We have now returned to coming here more regularly as the food is very good.

Sakura has a parking lot as well as options to park on the street. We never wait when we come here and it's BYOB, so we enjoy bringing our own selection of sake or wines.

Nice varied menu with lots of choices. Our favorites are chirashi sushi, age dashi tofu, all their special rolls are wonderful and my all-time favorite appetizer which is large enough to be an entree - Summer Garden.“

“Great lunchtime value and tasty options.

It's been awhile since my brother and myself have gotten together, for lunch with work commits and plain ol just schedule conflicts.

We decided to go to a Thai place by him, I def dig on Thai food, too.

We were seated quickly, with a very easy read menu with pictures for ppl we never offered Thai inspired food, before.

My go-to is Hot Sweet Basil Chicken, with my brother giving a great review of this place I decided on Garlic Grilled Chicken Breast as my main lunch special and side of Chive pancakes, that comes with soup or salad I decided on the Tom Yum Soup(Hot & Sour).

We ordered an appetizer of Fried Tofu among us, it came with an sweet Chili sauce for dipping.

With the timing perfect our main lunch as we finished the appy.

The presentation of my Garlic Grilled Chicken with a nice portion of scoop white rice... The (light brown) garlic sauce clung to the grilled chicken topped with onions and string beans that sat upon grilled crossed hatch markinga.

My side of Chive pancakes was just at the right crispness and warmth to be dipped in the included slightly chilled Spicy Brown Soy sauce made it a perfect tasty match.

With such a strong price point and value for lunchtime, I'll definitely come back for another visit.“
