“The manager Donny and waitress Marrisza continuously provide high level hospitality and service. Arirang is a community staple that serves high quality hibachi and Japanese food. Highly recommend for families and individuals of all ages for a fun night out and consistently delicious food.“
“If you’re a fan of the Dragon Ball franchise and good tasting Asian food then this is easily the best spot for it. Not only was the waitress absolutely phenomenal an attentive but the Dragon Ball decor made the super fan in me mesmerized. Everything about this place from the amazing staff to food to look of place deserves 10 stars really! I will for sure be back!!!“
“Every single dish was so unique, flavorful, filling and exceeded our expectation. Our favorites were the soft shell grab sandwich CEC sandwich and the thick cut bacon dish. The service was also great for how busy they were at closing time. They even gave us free chicken for our wait. Will definitely be back here soon!!“
“The staff at the restaurant were attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to guide us through the menu, recommending dishes that perfectly complemented our preferences. Their genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.“
“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“
“This is my go to sushi spot outside of traveling to NYC. For reference, I just went into NYC last weekend to a place for omakase, have brewed my own sake, and have traveled and tried plenty of sushi places (far more expensive) via the company credit card. The fish quality here is easily on par with most places 50% more expensive. The "dinner for two" style options are a good deal and it is BYOB if you want to bring wine or sake (which I do generally when I go). The service is incredibly friendly, actually even as an introvert I am tempted to try to strike up a conversation with Mr. Bin as he seems like a cool guy, perhaps next time I will offer him a drink. Anyway, long story short, this is the best sushi spot in the area and is worth going to 100% if you are feeling sushi. Only demerit is they should be more clear on what comes with a salad as I've ordered a second salad before, and that they always offer the oysters which IMO sound expensive (I get 1$ fresh oysters when I'm in florida). But overall this is a solid five star suggestion for sushi in the area.“
“We dropped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The sushi lunch packages are flexible, fresh, and priced very reasonably! Service was fast and friendly, parking super easy, refills on green tea came quickly. First time there under new management and we'll surely be back!Parking: Plenty of spaces and easy in/out“
“I've gotten thai food all around New Jersey and most of the country. This place is incredible! The food is absolutely authentic with some heat if you really want it. We had several dishes and a few with no spice. The mango sticky rice was not available due to mangos being out of season. We tried the cheese cake that was amazing too. This is one place I will gladly drive 45 minutes just to taste this quality of food again!“
“This is one of the few sushi places (if not the only one) in the area and surrounding towns that has a great vegan sushi option. Namely, vegetable maki roll is very good. While most other sushi places in the area offer very bland vegan options like a cucumber roll or avocado roll and nothing else re: rolls, Mizo sushi vegetable maki roll offers a nice combination of various textures and flavors all in one. So, a nice place to get vegan sushi in Cranford. And if you go to NYC, I super highly recommend Beyond Sushi, a fully vegan restaurant offering “gourmet” sushi experience. Minds and taste buds of both vegans and non-vegans are guaranteed to be blown away. That would be a Michelin-star grade experience.“
“My colleagues and I had a really excellent lunch meeting here. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and nice. The food was absolutely delicious, specifically the peanut dressing on the salad. I had the pineapple noodles with tofu and it was absolutely delicious. highly “
“Visited for lunch and just as good as I remembered. Had to get the Spring Breeze roll - love this combination and have never seen it anywhere else. The lunch box is a great deal too at around 14 bucks. The also have a lunch special where you can pick 2-3 regular rolls with soup and salad. We were able to find street parking out front but if you can't remember there is a public lot nearby.“
“Came here COMPLETELY at random. We decided to leave for dinner with absolutely no destination in mind, only an area where we would look. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing. Such a great choice & a new go-to spot. Grades: Wings: A+ Snowcorn Roll: A+ Bulgogi Sliders: A“
“Great service and tasty Malaysian food. Portion sizes are good and reasonable pricing. Parking is not limited to the two spaces you see in front of restaurant. Plenty of parking in the back for the few store fronts at the area.Recommended if in the Edison, NJ area and have a craving for some southeastern Asian cuisine.“
“Come hungry. Only place to enjoy authentic Indian food in the whole New Jersey. Ambiance, taste, customer service, its all here. Did I mention how tasty the food is. Plus you get introduced to Sunil, owner, who's just welcoming and make you feel at home. They do events, weddings, B days and everything else. Come to kings today!“
“Editing my review since it's been a few years: this has easily become our new favorite spot for sushi, whether it be dining in or take out. The staff is always friendly, and everything is delicious and fresh. Just a note: the space inside is small, only a handful of tables.“
“We have been going to Red Pepper with our friends since it was opened.the food is excellent. The chicken dishes, Paneer dishes and Kulcha's are worth trying. The deserts are awesome.I would recommend it to everyone.Vegetarian options: Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Matar paneer, and panner tikka masala, and onion and potatoe kulcha's are best.“
“I can't say enough good things about Three In One! The food is absolutely FANTASTIC! I've eaten there 4 times just this week. The food is freah, flavorful and beautifully presented. The portions are generous enough to always have some to take home.Being a Type 2 diabetic, I've been delighted to discover that the cuisine here does NOT cause my blood sugar to skyrocket like most foods do.The restaurant is very clean and has an open and uncrowded feeling. The waiters are polite and attentive without being bothersome.I'm sure I'm going to return a LOT over the coming years! It's my new FAVORITE spot to eat in and take out.“
“This is a lovely restaurant on Main in Chatham. Seating consists of small table with chairs. However the chairs lack any cushions and can be uncomfortable. The ambience is open, spacious, with big windows and dotted with lots of plants. The menu is well designed and organizedStaff is friendly, attentive and helpfulFood was good however in both or dishes (Chicken Thai Basil curry and Shrimp ginger scallion from the lunch special) the protein appeared to be deep fried, I would have preferred it cooked with the dish to better absorb the flavors.“
“Very good music, restaurant was supposed to close 2:30, staff allowed us to stay until 3, we left earlier, but that was really nice. Ate raw fish for the first time, restaurant gave a good impression with the sushi lunch. Calming music was indeed calming. People keep yapping about how they don't greet customers, bro it's a Japanese restaurant, they don't always greet you needy Americans ???. Bet you've been to 5+ restaurants where they didn't greet and you still gave them 5 stars. (Also they greeted anyways ?)Kid-friendliness: Had a brother, staff interacted with him with ACTUAL INTEREST. Nice.“
“"Sakura Japanese Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its fresh fish dishes and attentive service. From succulent sushi to expertly crafted sashimi, each bite is a burst of flavor. The staff's warmth and efficiency ensure a memorable meal. A must-visit for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine!"“
“Delicious! The best scallion pancakes and bbq boneless spare ribs ... authhenic fried rice and huge steamed dumplings!! i ordered pretty late and the food came fast and hot. It's been hard to get good chinese food lately. Lucky fortune is my new go to.“
“Good food. Good service. Could do without the delivery people sleeping in the back I guess but whatever. Place is top quality.Vegetarian options: It's a pan Asian place. There's plenty of veg options though I rarely order that personally.Dietary restrictions: If you ask them to remove something they will.Kid-friendliness: There's a kida menu“
“You can't go wrong with Suzuki. The sushi is always on point and my wife loves their Beef Negamaki! We do a lot of take out from there and the food quality is great as take out so I can only imagine how great it would be if we had time to dine in. Even though we haven't had time to dine in (we plan to in the near future) when I pick up our order the atmosphere in the restaurant is always so inviting. We will continue to order from this great restaurant and their staff is awesome!“
“You definitely don't go here for the atmosphere-you go for the food. It was a cold night and I was in the mood for some ma la flavors to get warm. I had seen this restaurant a couple of times so decided to give them a try. It is a small place, with four tables that seat four people, and a couple that seat two. One of the side walls is covered with printouts of a number of the dishes, which can be helpful for those that don't know what some of the dishes look like. There is only one person working both the register and the tables, so patience is appreciated here. Did I mention earlier that I was cold? We walked over from the parking lot under the highway (free on Saturday nights) and was very chilled by the time we entered. Cold and hungry, we ordered lamb with cumin and ma la pot chicken. My companion ordered snow pea tips and vegetable mei fun. To start, we split an order of pan fried vegetable dumplings. The waitress checked to be sure that we wanted all that food for two people-the ma la pot chicken alone is big enough to split between two people (or one VERY hungry person). Reassuring her that we wanted all that food, we settled down to wait. The dumplings came out first, and we are still trying to decide what the filling was comprised of. Carrots, cabbage and....daikon? Not sure, but it was delicious and increased our expectation for the rest of the meal. Next came the ma la pot chicken and I immediately understood why she wanted to confirm our order. I definitely was not finishing all of that in one sitting. The chicken had some lovely crunchy bits around the edges and while the dish itself is dry, the chicken was not. The ma la flavor filled my mouth and warmed my stomach. Lamb with cumin is a great dish to pair with rice, and half a bowl of rice was gone before I even blinked. My companion noted that their vegetable mei fun was flavorful and not oily although the snow pea tips could have been more tender. Overall, the meal was flavorful and a prefect choice on a cold night. I need to come back here and try out a couple more dishes that I usually order, and try a new one or two (spicy and sour potato, shredded???). Yes please!!“
“A great Japanese place in a strip mall that offers great food, and abundant indoor seating. Sushi tasted fresh The salmon teriyaki was also great. Friendly service too! Service was attentive and helpful. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner.“
“Generally fearful of Chinese carryout (one bad apple long ago), this place is a step out of my hole. Good, not too greasy, good flavors and all not served entirely in styrofoam. Many locals and clear regulars passing through here is a good sign.“
“Food is always great here. Super nice atmosphere too especially with the music. The workers were really nice there. We ordered many rolls, and the new “Jupiter Roll” was especially amazing. (second picture) Definitely will be coming back for more! ??????“
“I love Fan Bistro!!!!???? Best food in town. They might as well know me because of how often I order from them. The hibachi meals- disgusting (that’s slang for amazing) in other words, gods must’ve crafted this. The atmosphere is postmodern, with comfortable color and large brass buddha. I hate sushi but the tuna sushi is ?!! Soy sauce? More like girl boss!! Love this place, man. Just adore this food, on god; fax ong. One time I ordered chicken hibachi; got steak teriyaki. But hey, enjoyed it all the same.Vegetarian options: -Rice-Vegetable hibachi-all kinds of fried rice“
“Best sushi restaurant in the area! They’re really good at doing special rolls that are complex without being so over the top that you lose the flavor. BYOB and prices are similar to other restaurants in the area. Reservations usually aren’t needed and service is good. Love the white dragon roll and their pork gyoza and crispy duck appetizersDietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free friendly“
“i like to try a restaurant a few times before actually leaving a review, but after my food from last night, i definitely need to write one. every time i’ve come and ordered, the food was delicious. last night i got bbq fried wings with shrimp lo mein and my taste buds were dancing lol. also love their homemade iced tea, it’s not too sweet and very refreshing. everyone is also very friendly and happy to help out.“
