Madina Halal Platter offers the best Halal food in New Jersey, with delicious hummus, pita, and Chicken and Rice that has a unique flavor. The Platter may lack some moisture, and the salad could use more onions and tomatoes. However, the people are nice and respectful, and the family platter is a great value with generous portions. The staff is super friendly and the meals are absolutely delicious, with well-flavored chicken platters and the best baklava for dessert. The cheesesteaks, burgers, and spicy rice are amazing, and the shrimp with special shrimp sauce is a must-try. Both locations, including the Rahway store and the food truck in Paterson, serve great platters with fast service. The sitting area could use updating, but the food tastes great and the prices are reasonable. Don’t forget their homemade white sauce!
