Two years ago we hosted a party for 35 people at Char and the service was excellent, as was the food. We were disappointed in the delay of service and the waiter not applying the two gift cards and the credit card to our bill. The waiter also lost our credit card. We waited a 1/2 hour before the mishap was straightened out. Perhaps retraining the staff would be beneficial.

Last time I was there it was terrible. I wrote a bad review which they deserved. I didn't want to return, but our guests did. It was so much better the steak was not gray and it was very good. Hopefully just an off night, too bad it was on my time. They charge a 3% for credit cards.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Steven was an attentive server. He made several great recommendations, and he was kind enough to bring over two spare bones for both of our lucky pups at home. Our cocktails and meals were fabulous as usual. The renovated patio looks beautiful. Thank you for a nice evening out.
