Great local steak house with good food and creative drinks

If you're going for apps, drinks & atmosphere, it's a good place.If you're going for steak, don't!I ordered the delmonico, medium. It was so tough, I couldnt cut it with a steak knife.I had to ask my waiter 3x for my beverage. At the end of our meal, my companion asked for her food to be wrapped and they gave her someone else's food and argued with her that it was hers. She ordered a filet, they were trying to give her someone else's 1/2 eaten Delmonico steak dinner. Unsanitary! 2 very different cuts of meat and easy to tell one from the other. When we made our waiter aware, the manager, Paul, came over and got heated with us because his staff threw out her food and offered to make her a new plate, after the kitchen closed. This man had no idea how to handle the situation in a dignified manor. All this for $255 a head. No Thank You! I will not be a repeat customer.

Amazing food, the steak was cooked perfect and the mac and cheese was to die for! The creamed spinach was also delicious. The ambience is really nice the inside is very modern, the service is very good as well, all around no complaints and will definitely be back.

Everything was Excellent. Parking Valet was perfect. Hostesses were perfect. Bar and bartenders were perfect. Drinks were perfect. Service was Excellent. The food was insane. A must try restaurant. This place didn’t miss a beat.

Spent $150. HeadFood was maybe a step or two above a good long horn steakhouse .When asked the waiter best appetizer he replied “it’s a steakhouse everything’s good”..When asked the steak supplier he didn’t know and took 10 mins to come back with an answer. Found out the supplier and have to say there’s a reason why competition steakhouses in the area don’t use their supplier.“Steak and potatoes” appAround the perimeter of the gnocci was cold to luke warm center short ribCowboy ribeye was like I said a step above a longhorn and didn’t hold up to the restaurants “char” name.… but it’s a steak house so everything is good lol…

Char used to be our go to, we either ate in or ordered at least once a week for our family of seven. I don't know what happened. Did they change their meat supplier? Just don't care any more? I'm disgusted that I paid so much money for this horrendous piece of grizzle, fat and sinew! Look at my photos, once the bone, fat and silver skin were cut off, there was not much meat left but it was medium rare so I was hopeful. Now I know this Steak should be marbled, but this was ridiculous, there was a little piece of the middle of the steak left. Even the meat that was left was a joke I could not cut a SINGLE piece of meat without hacking away with my knife because the entire thing had tendons running through it - literally attached together with tendons that I couldn't cut it through at any point. I could literally hang this 'steak' up like a piece of garland attached like rope in the middle of all my attempts at cutting through it. Just a hunk of garbage for $70!! Ok I'll eat my salad, but the dressing is so watery the lettuce became mushy..oh but we have delicious Creamed spinach - nope - somehow it was burnt on top?! Do they cook it in the oven? I'm at a loss as to what happened here. I'm hungry after spending way too much money.

Won't be coming back :/ paid nearly $400 for 3 of us, the waitstaff was very nice but the food wasn't worth nearly what I paid.. The drinks should be way better for nearly $20 a drink.. just overall very disappointing. Damn shame. $8-9 for Sparkling water thats more the a beer on tap!?! If you are gonna charge $70-$150 per steak and $20 per drink then it better be beyond good.. & Unfortunately I wasn't even full when I left.. lol The sides were average... Mashed Potatoes and Spinach were nearly $30 and it was basic & plain. The one time I really wanna splurge and have a nice dinner, I was very disappointed.. & I wish I felt otherwise. For $300+!?! What did I even pay for the atmosphere?? Going to 2 Star instead of 3 because of the crazy pricing. :/

Everything was delicious. Our waiter Pierre was awesome and he made some suggestions and they were fabulous. Tiramusu for 2 , Surf and turf , potatoes au gratin were our choices and all were perfect. Will definitely be back.

Was looking for quick lunch on a busy Sunday. Passing by and saw they had open spots at bar. Ordered lobster wonton, short rib gnocchi, and lamb chops. All were fantastic. This will be our go to when in area.

We had a perfect dining experience for six people. All were happy. All were meat eaters. Bone in filet, dry aged NY strip cooked perfect, just awesome. Apps, sides all very good. Great service throughout. Nice venue. It is expensive, but we knew that going in. We will reserve for special occasions, but will be back and certainly recommend.
