I made a reservation and not only did they immediately take us in and had us seated but service was quick and incredible. Unfortunately what I wanted on the menu wasn't available. Not only did they apologize but they comped the two drinks we ordered before we found out. Listen, it takes integrity to not only apologize but make things right without asking. If you're looking for a good atmosphere and wonderful service come here. I know I'll be back to try what I wanted. And you should too.

We always enjoyed Danny’s restaurant. We were there for dinner a few night ago and was surprised to see how much the menu had changed. There was always a sushi chef onsite and he was excellent. We primarily went for the sushi. They no longer offer sushi at all and their menu is mostly steak. They always had an excellent selection of salads and that is also not offered any longer. I had the salmon, which was ok…not nearly as good as it was. Several of our party had the steak and honestly, no one in the group was impressed with their dinners. Too bad because it was once a great place to dine in Red Bank

For a place that was wine bar and sushi in its name, it's a little disappointing to only have 1 decent Cab on the menu the rest are low end wines. Also they don't serve Sushi anymore. So I don't get it. However the food was very good so I'll give them a pass and hope they rethink their product offering.

I've been to Danny's several times over the years and it has always been great. Understandably the owner has passed fairly recently but I'm not sure why that has completely changed the restaurant. #1 How can you call yourself a steakhouse/sushi and wine bar and NOT SERVE SUSHI?? There was a placard when you walked in informing you they no longer serve sushi but nothing online states such. Very disappointing. The menu is very small now and 2 out of the 6 people who ordered the pork chop said it was overdone, another 2 who ordered steak said it was tough. My shrimp dish (which was a special) was fine and the guest who ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs enjoyed it. Overall, I'd never go back. It is no longer what it was, don't bother to try it.

I gave this place one star because they need to fix the website so it shows all the options. It is so difficult to find their sushi menu. The food and rolls are great so it's really frustrating to deal with their website.

This was brutal. Arrive to a sign that says the steak and sushi restaurant no longer serves sushi. “Sorry for the inconvenience.” Something I ate gave me intense intestinal distress. Could've been the brussels sprouts or the burrata salad. The latter had arugula straight from a plastic box under cold cherry tomatoes with rubbery cheese. Service was indifferent. This is one of those literally never again places for us. Ugh.

We had a 7 o'clock reservation, and we were all there at 7 but they were not able to seat us until about 7:25. They were apologetic and that was fine. Everything else was good except my husband's steak, which he ordered medium, came out well done. He was very disappointed. Salads were delicious, servers were nice. So, a mixed bag. But a steakhouse that messes up a steak, not great.

This was a last minute decision and I'm so happy i came here. You can get an amazing steak but the atmosphere was casual which I liked. The waiter was so sweet and helpful I would recommend for a casual night out.

We have dined at Danny's Steakhouse several times and have been satisfied each time. Food quality is excellent, service staff is professional and ambiance is similar to a saloon from years past.

Went to Danny’s this past weekend, had a reservation for 7:30, we weren’t seated until after 8. Once seated, we sat for a bit before anyone came over, then once we did order we waited, and waited and waited. When we asked our server when the food was coming he said it would still be about 330 minutes. At this point the restaurant was nearly empty and the people next to us who arrived after us were almost finished. Food finally comes and when we got our check we were then met with the fact that a gift card we had was no longer valid because the system was changed over either before or after the restaurant was. The server had me speak to an owner or manager via phone and basically we were told “I don’t know how much is on that card so I’d be at a loss”. While I understand, ultimately it’s going to be more of a loss because not only will we never return, but would not recommend. The entire night was just not great.

Went to Danny's for a Mother's Day dinner. Lots of great menu options for all, from sushi to burgers to ribs. Really nice atmosphere and our server, Nicole, was exceptional: friendly and honest in her recommendations. Really made for a nice evening. A great option for date night, a special event or large parties.

Expensive for what we got! Ribeye steak was $44 and you don't get one thing with it! $6 for a baked potato and another $6 for sautéed mushrooms! Steak Frite was about 4 slices of sirloin steak ( bland not really seasoned ) w/ fries for $34! Ribeye was slightly over cooked too! Appetizers were good, although not much food to share! Overall, disappointed with value and quality! Probably won't go back!

My first time at Danny's My uncle was late so I sat at the bar and had a couple drinks first great bartender Got seated waitress was excellent food was outstanding I'll go again and I already gave my son a gift card
