The food is what matters here. Traditional meals from El Salvador are big and filling. We had several dishes including empanadas, steaks, yucca, papusas, soup, fish, and much more. The pupusas were by far the best part of the meal. I had a grilled steak. It was cooked perfectly, with rice and beans, and a piece of chorizo. Thick, soft tortillas were provided. All very fresh and authentic. The dining area was ok, but nothing flashy.
We just stopped in tonight to pick up dinner because we heard positive things about it on Nooga Today. We got the sushi, guacamole and chips and a chicken empanada.
The sushi was tasty as was the guacamole.
We are so full we couldn’t get to the empanada but I assume it’ll be as good as the rest of our meal.
The gentleman who took our order was very sweet and service was fast and delivered with a smile.
The dining area wasn’t fancy but...
The pupusas were good but the curtido was disgusting. I’ve never had anything so salty before. It burnt my tongue. I’m not really familiar with Salvadoran food, but I’ve had delicious pupusas with delicious curtido. This place needs a better curtido recipe. Sometimes less is more.
