Absolutely awful experience. I told the waiter Chicken and Broccoli and he brought out Beef and . He tried to say I gave him a number combination plate which I didn’t. I literally said Chicken and Brocolli. He called me a liar and the front staff was very rude as well. You should never….ever call a customer a liar. Absolutely bad form and never eating here again. Also literally only 1 couple there in a weekend. That should tell you something right there.

If I could leave zero stars I would. No one in the restaurant on a Sunday at 5 pm. Waiter took rhe wrong order and when brought it out claimed we gave him a number and not the name of the food. When we told him the order was wrong he called us a liar and basically told us to leave. Met with lady with blonde hair and while she apologized at first, she back peddled and called us rude for being called liars....are you for real? Do not eat here unless you like bullys and waiter with a god complex. If you make a mistake, accept it and move on. We made the mistake of coming here for dinner. That wont ever happen again. Tons of other restaurants in the area. Go somewhere else.

My family has gone to house of Chong forever. We always compared any other Chinese food and Chinese restaurants to house of Chong. Nothing ever came close to our experience or food. It became the birthday restaurant, the out of town company restaurant, the take out restaurant. My sister and I recently went there and were extremely disappointed. Mr Chong died 2017 or 2018. ( before 2020 ) The ordering changed. Instead of family style menu with column A and column B, the repast was per plate. The wonderful experience of trying different foods and the fun it brought is no longer there. The waiters are the same, the food tastes different. It didn’t taste as wholesome as we remembered.
