Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.

We dined on Sunday October 22. The meal was outstanding and the portions were enormous. The guacamole and the red snapper with garlic were out of this world.Parking: Its in the Galleria so there is plenty of parking.

We were a little surprised that there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant eating on a Saturday night when we arrived. We sat and ordered our meal and the server was very pleasant. The manager came over to check on on us and mentioned that they were setting up for a party that was happening later in the evening. The food came out and was pretty good. We had no complaints. Maybe it's the location that they don't get much business on a Saturday evening but I would recommend if your looking for a nice quiet place with good food.

Cute & quiet little place. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, guacamole and oysters followed by the steak tacos and fajitas. The shrimp ceviche & guacamole were both delicious. Wish we had remembered to ask for jalapeños to be included. The oysters were ok, a little more acid & heat would have been nice with this preparation. The fajitas were so good. The proteins were shrimp, beef & chicken breast. This is the first time we've ever had a chicken fajita without the chicken being horribly dry & overcooked. The flavor was delicious and the portion was huge. The steak tacos were tasty too. They had a great flavor and were light. We will definitely be back.

Delicious authentic food coming from a Mexicana herself. The guacamole and shrimp empanadas is to die for! As well as their churros (one was strawberry filled - my fav). But even their aguachile and fajitas were amazing. The owner was very attentive and kind. Would go back, 12/10
