Monticello at Red Bank Italian Restaurant

Excellent, as always! Best restaurant in Red Bank. Food and service are spectacular, and you are never rushed.

What's a wonderful experience we've been there before, but this time seemed different. The atmosphere the service the food we agreed to promptly seated in a very nice table.

Delicious food. Our party of four each tried a chicken entree from the Fixed Price $30 menu. All were very pleased. Nice salad (choice of garden or Caesar), warm bread, and a parfait dessert. Our server Marina was excellent. We were not rushed and had a terrific dining experience. We will be back!

Excellent menu we did not plan to have the 3 course special but happy we did. Pear salad outstanding , muscles in broth appetizers recommend. We all had different meals all excellent

Fantastic dining experience. The best Sea Bass I have ever had in my life. The poached pear appetizer was great too. Service was perfect. Highly recommended. We had dined before a show at the Meridian Health Center -- but this is worth a special trip down from North Jersey just for dinner.

Always disappointed when going to an Italian restaurant, red sauce usually doesn't have much flavor, very watery, honestly most places are sub par.... Monticello left me speechless! The sauce was absolutely amazing!!! Thick and flavorful!!!! I like my sauce spicy and they accommodated... the smell was incredible! Definitely the best sauce I've had at any Italian restaurant! After I cleaned my plate there was a little dribble of olive oil which is what you want to see, not water diluted sauce. Food was delicious! Now as to the service it was wonderful! Staff is so attentive and pleasant from the greeter to the bus boy. Atmosphere was really nice too. I will absolutely go there again and would recommend to anyone looking for a genuine Italian food experience. 10 out of 10! Hats off to the chef and the staff as they run a great establishment.

The food is always good and our waiter was excellent however they also appear to be short staffed so you wait a long time for service and food!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Red Bank. Kat and her team make everyone feel like family, the service and ambiance are amazing, and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend for any occasion.

the food was absolutely amazing. everyone ordered different things and they were all delicious. the owner was so pleasant and had time to stand and talk with us for a while. the menu was so gluten friendly which is so important and on top of that was excellent. we will certainly be returning and will make this part of our favorites in the future.

The service was very good, and the food was good too! My only complaint was portions were too much! I would go back again and I'd recommend Monticello also!

First time at Monticello and thoroughly enjoyed the food, but the service was a little disappointing and it started to get very noisy as the night went on. Our server was nice, but he never offered to open our wine until he was asked (it's a BYO) and then he part opened the bottle somewhere in the back and brought it to the table with the cork half pulled. We really enjoyed the food and started with the poached pair for an appy, and had the grilled shrimp and risotto, and the stuffed chicken as mains. We would have had desert, but our server was slow and we had to be at a show at the Basie. We left around 7pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very full and very noisy by then. Great value and great food, so we will return.

Food was very good. Believe they may have been a bit short staffed as the food came out a bit slow.

This restaurant was amazing!! Service was great , efficient and friendly! Food was outstanding!!! Definitely recommend you won't be disappointed !

The food was very, very good and everything came out hot. The portions were large. Calamari appetizer was excellent. I had the panko pork chop with the honey reduction and gout cheese which was prepared nicely. I had truffle fries which were crunchy and hot, but not very truffly. Still good, though. My husband had seafood arrabiata which was generous and delicious. Overall the experience was very pleasant and I would recommend eating at Monticello. Our server, Marissa was very sweet and attentive also.
