First time at Monticello Restaurant. Good food, quite so you can talk with your guest, services very good. Going back with other friends soon

Love it! Wonderful atmosphere. Everyone makes you feel special. Food delicious, especially dessert!

Seated on time with my reservation Waitress, Marina, was excellent She can't to our table immediately and took care of our wine and explained specials We were not rushed

Restaurant was busy but we waited quite awhile for our waitress. I opened our wine before she showed up. Bread took awhile. She handed us a dessert menu before we got our dinners. Honest mistake, I guess.

We always enjoy the food and service here. We had a wonderful price fixed dinner on Tuesday night. We will be back.!!

Another delicious dinner tonite! The four of us had several different appetizers and entrees-all of them were absolutely fresh and delicious! Love the service, the food and the quiet ambiance!

After reading so many great reviews, I was expecting to be in for a real treat, but unfortunately my experience fell short. The atmosphere was extremely loud, and the bright blue lights under the table flowers were harsh on the eyes — I actually started to get a headache after a while. It was also quite warm inside, which made things uncomfortable. The food itself was just okay. This is about the fourth place I've tried that claims to be “authentic Italian,” but the dishes felt a bit bland and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Another disappointment was that it's BYOB — something I didn't see mentioned anywhere on the website or menu beforehand, so we came unprepared. Our server was polite but spoke very softly, which made it almost impossible to hear him in such a noisy environment. Meanwhile, I could clearly hear another server across the room speaking to a different table, so the noise level definitely made a difference. Overall, the evening was fine but not what I expected given all the hype. A few small adjustments — like clearer BYOB notice, better lighting, and attention to comfort — could make a big difference.

We always have excellent food and wonderful service at Monticello, the best Italian restaurant in Red Bank.

Always an incredible experience. Fresh and delicious seafood, pasta and chicken. Can't say enough about how 4 people could all be so satisfied by the dinner. Bravo!

If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere of a chef owned restaurant Monticello is for you. Prices are fair and food quality excellent.

The food was delicious. The Chicken milanese is the best around. The bread pudding was to die for.

By far the best Italian restaurant in Red Bank! Wide variety of choices...food always fresh and delicious. Great ambiance for date night..service is always great! If you have one restaurant to go to in Red Bank Monticello is it!

Food was delicious and our server was very attentive. There was one table where the guests were getting quite loud; I appreciated how the owner, unprompted, went over and took control of the situation. We will definitely be back!

The food is always great, we gave ourselves plenty of time before our show at 9:30 pm and our waitress even asked if we were going to a show to make sure our meals arrived as soon as possible so we would be on time. Great place!
