Nicholas Barrel & Roost Reviews

Nicholas Barrel & Roost offers a welcoming atmosphere with a lively and inviting ambiance. The restaurant features a variety of dishes, including the Nicolas Burger, which is highly praised as exceptional. The Surf and Turf is also well-liked, along with the pizza and chicken, both described as great. Dinner options include Mahi Mahi with whipped potatoes and NY Strip with fries, both noted for being cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to ensure guests feel special. A server named Lauren has been praised for her excellent service, and the staff handles issues well, such as when a baked ziti arrived cold but was promptly replaced with a hot, fresh serving after apologies from the staff. The restaurant has a cute upscale look, and the atmosphere is lively, though acoustics can be rough, making it hard to hear across the table. The drinks are nicely crafted, with bartenders making great old fashions. The menu includes a good selection of wine and cocktails. Whether for brunch or dinner, Nicholas Barrel & Roost remains a popular spot for casual dining and special occasions, appreciated for its great food, attention to detail, and both indoor and outdoor spaces. Recent reviews highlight the delicious food, friendly staff, and a cozy yet lively environment.
