Had a great experience at Mesón Criollo in Ridgefield Park. This is the kind of place that really gives you that authentic, home-cooked Dominican food experience. The portions are generous, the food is flavorful, and there’s a great variety of traditional dishes to choose from.

Mesón Criollo offers a first-time experience with the "4 golpe" Breakfast, where the Mangu was super smooth. The Goat Stew with Sweet Plantains was DELICIOUSSSSSS. Food is delicious, affordable, clean, and generous with portions. The owner, her daughter, and staff provide friendly service and great conversation. They even have a "Milagrosa" to bless their locale. The restaurant is clean and well lit, with delicious dessert options. Customers will definitely be back to try other yummy-looking dishes.
