“Came in here tonight and was cold outside. I had to get me a chicken sandwich. This was my first time coming here. I'm a def come back here. This food is FRESH FRESH.

I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, onion, & tomato. It was too good.

Now look my good people we in Jersey. We also at a truck stop service plaza. So prices might be a little high, but this actually was on par with other places I go.

I paid $8.58 or something like that. They had the crinkle cut fries, but I wasn't in the mood.

So I just got the sandwich and nothing else. This place is highly recommended in my opinion. Come check them out.

“I don’t know what all these bad reviews are for but the food was literally amazing. I don’t know if it’s because I’m easy to please but I’m not even kidding you guys need to humble yourselves and refrain from writing such bad reviews on a place that has such fresh and crispy chicken. I’m not the type ever to write a review but for some reason I just felt so inclined and was quite disheartened reading the negative reviews people left. Probably all the Karen’s… as someone who has worked retail and understands stressful work environments these workers are literally amazing an incredibly organized. Maybe I caught the best time of day? I don’t know but food in Long Island is definitely not like this I was absolutely impressed.“

“Went there in Lower east village Manhattan to have halal Tikka rolls. Had to wait for a good 45 minutes for our order. Small place run by a family, I suppose. Rolls were good and spicy. The place was so so with little attention to regular cleaning since they appeared really short handed. Hope they can improve the ambiance further.“

“Today we visit Parriyas..we don't know much bergenline so as soonest we saw this spot it caught our attention..the food was amazing,the attentiion and atmosphere was great. “I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! “My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

The food is simple, fresh, and tasty. 😃 Everything has such a clean, homemade taste. I especially love their warm pita bread and fresh salad. The complimentary kaymak (cheese spread) on the side is also delicious and such a nice touch.

The burger was super good. juicy, fresh, and actually tasted like something you’d want again, not just fast food filler. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the fries were crispy and salty in a good way.

Service was quick and everything came out pretty fast, which was nice because I was starving. Overall it’s just an easy, no-stress place to grab a really good burger. I’d definitely go back.“

My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! “This is by far the best chicken and rice spot in Bergen County and has far surpassed Halal Guys for the freshness, quality, taste, and portions in its platters. I discovered it as a door dasher and their gave it a try and maaaaannnn I was pleasantly suprised. Plus I tried the wings, as a wing aficionados and HOT DAMN, their Buffalo flavored wings are off the chain. They dont do the BS breaded wings so many places do these days. It just buffalo styled wings. I have also tried their shakes - cinnamon toast crunch and it's the 💣diggity. Such a large menu that I need to try more stuff.

“What a great hole in the wall for authentic Thai cuisine. This place has only been open for 3 years, but I sense they will be open for years to come.

The food is incredible, the service was quick, and the a/c was running.

My friend and I shared the som tum with shrimp (with fermented fish sauce), fried chicken skins, and hainanese/fried chicken combo. Everything was incredibly packed with umami, spice, and tang, perfect for a hot summer day.

The som tum with fermented fish sauce is authentic and reminded me of my trip to Bangkok many years ago. It was refreshing, spicy, and packed with flavor from the papaya and sauces. The shrimp was tender and melted in my mouth.

The fried chicken/hainanese chicken combo was also sublime. It was tender, and really paired well with the rice. I love how there wasn’t much bone to the chicken, which made it really easy to eat. I loved it with the sweet and sour sauce, giving it more dimension.

The fried chicken skins were such a great appetizer. I wish it was served warm, but overall, it complimented the som tum we had.

Would I come back to this place? Absolutely. I highly recommend this spot for diners who want an authentic Thai street food experience, and I cannot wait to come back and try the other specialties they have to offer.“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe.
