Bukhara catered our 136 person wedding in upstate NY this past weekend. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL and everyone was raving! We especially loved the daal, butter chicken, pani puri, Goan fish curry, and the ras malai and gulab jamun we had for dessert. Highly recommend working with Bukhara for any event!

We came to Bukhara Grill in Ridgewood to celebrate my 18th birthday.
Exceptionally delicious and full of authentic flavor. Every single dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. Instead of the standard lap napkins, they provide aprons, which is such a fun idea. We finished the meal with dessert, which was equally delicious and the perfect sweet note to end the celebration. The ambiance and service made the night feel extra special. We are vegetarian so you can customize and always have options.

Working with Akshay and Deepika at Bukhara Grill Caterers was easily one of the best decisions we made for our event! All of our guests absolutely LOVED the food. Everyone was raving about every single dish throughout the entire day, and people are still bringing it up! In fact, one of my non-South Asian friends who had never tried Indian food before literally licked her plate clean because the dal was so incredible. Akshay and his team went above and beyond for us, making the entire experience seamless and delicious. They were also incredibly accommodating with our all-vegetarian menu and various dietary restrictions, ensuring every guest felt cared for.

Wow! What a treat it was to have Bukhara as one our vendor for two events in two months, a wedding, and a Golden Anniversary. Heard so many compliments from many who attended the events. I had another fantastic meal at Bukhara Grill. The paneer and salmon tikka apps were a great start. It only got better from there. For the mains we ordered The Bangan and the Methi chicken curry which were both very flavorful. Food and service overall was superb!!

Excellent experience with great food. Second time visit here and amazing great taste of indian food. Signature dishes from chef is definitely a hit.

I recently used this restaurant’s catering service for a family event. While the food was acceptable, my experience with customer service was very disappointing. I paid a $200 deposit, and getting it refunded took nearly two weeks. During that time, I had to call repeatedly and follow up almost every day.

What was most frustrating was the owner’s attitude. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, they came across as arrogant and indifferent to customer concerns. Good customer service is just as important as good food, and unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations.

I hope they improve their communication and treat customers with more respect in the future.

A special thank you to Akshay Jhanjee, who guided us through the planning process and was always responsive, patient and accommodating. He helped us create a menu for each event that every single one of our guests are still talking about. His attention to detail and commitment to making our vision come to life gave us complete confidence every step of the way. He was not only part of the planning process but made sure to be present at the events as well, to make sure everything was running smoothly.

We are also incredibly grateful to our event managers, Kapil and Mahendra, who ensured everything ran flawlessly on the day of the events. Their organization, professionalism, and calm presence allowed us and our families to fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about a thing.

The food was simply exceptional. Executive chefs Ram and Lorence created an outstanding menu that beautifully represented both Gujarati and Punjabi cuisines. Every dish was fresh, flavorful and perfectly executed. We have received countless compliments from our guests , many of whom said it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had!!

Bukhara Grill played a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional Indian wedding caterer.
