Perhaps they may have good pastries but for an authentic French bakery they have the WORST gourmet coffee I have drank in awhile!!!
I ordered an oatmilk cappuccino on a Wednesday night and it tasted horrible- bland like water.
Being located In the midst of an upscale town of Ridgewood, I would recommend to invest into better quality coffee beans, a better cappuccino/ espresso machine and hire a capable barista!

After previously giving a five star review, I am changing it because they charged me over $50 for an item they no longer carry and when I said I do not want to spend that kind of money if you don’t have the particular item I want they insisted I will get a refund , it will be initiated that day -

while spending the whole week checking my bank account I had to call them at the end of the week after calling them twice before that with being told, I will get a response and nobody ever calling me back until Friday where I called again and that’s when Jonathan happened to be there and made sure to get a results for me.

Multiple times I said I have spent good money here and I would appreciate a one minute callback from the OWNER because I have spent hours dealing with the situation that I never wanted to be in, didn’t inform their workers that they don’t make this particular flavor anymore And I was charged on that basis

Which is totally fine mistakes happen but what is not fine is what if I really needed that money and I have to waste all my time checking every day just to find out that four days later it was never even initiated and who knows how long it would have went on if I did not push this multiple times so again between checking my bank account multiple times a day making a call
Multiple times to be told I would get a call back and never did and not once has the owner reached out to me or offered anything for the inconvenience

The truth is, I spend more money at Venice in Garfield, but I came here because they had apricot croissants which a lot of people do not have now that they took that off the menu and on top of that I see how the owner values customers so that is a very huge portion of me, writing reviews, and not only how good a product is But also the way an owner reciprocate the people that put food on their table

I have been coming here since we moved into the neighborhood. Lovely coffee, lovely staff, consistent quality of pastries and baguettes. It's also my family's go to if we are ever traveling and want to bring sandwiches - picnics, air travel, long drives! Their pain suisse is delightful - even though I probably shouldn't say cos they sell out quickly! :)

I asked for 3 chocolate eclairs with pastry cream, the person at the counter asked me again which one I asked for and I said the chocolate eclair with the pastry cream and showed it to her, and she still gave me 3 vanilla eclairs with chantilly cream which I am only finding out after opening the box 20 minutes later after arriving home. It’s a pity, and I am taking these back to get the correct order.

Well done European style deserts! Love that they are not overly sweet - def recommend for a quick coffee/desert stop in Ridgewood.

The pastry was excellent! Unfortunately, my chai latte was not. Too much milk, not enough tea…it lacked flavor and I was charged $1 for almond milk. I paid $7 for a drink that I did not like!

Great bakery but phone service is awful. Tried to put a holiday order in and worker put me on hold for 20 minutes. I finally hung up and tried to call back a few minutes later and she left the phone off hook. Had to place with another bakery.

No place to sit ! False advertisement ! It’s not French , it’s Spanish made and delivered ! Very poor location . And no parking
