We come to Shumi at least once a month and sit at the counter. It is our favorite sushi place in NJ. The fish quality is incredible and the chefs behind the counter are always so generous and kind remember remembering their customers.
I have used this restaurant several times and this is one of my favorite sushi restaurant. However, I was quite disappointed this time for the quality of foods. Hope to get better experience at my next visit.
Overall very good food. Good service and restaurant interior. One small detail that I didn't like was that when they brought a plate of sashimi deluxe that I ordered, the size of sashimi pieces was about half of what I usually get in other restaurants. And this dish is expensive.
