Just a wow experience. We went again last night in Ridgewood. I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. The most fantastic and fresh sushi anywhere. I wish I could give it 10 stars. The new Chilean roll was so good we ordered another one. Truly the best of the best. If you don't go here for sushi you're missing out. Make reservations you will not be disappointed. Bravo!!! Another amazing dinner at Shumi. We brought our son for his first "proper" sushi dinner - he couldn't get enough. No HUGE pieces of sushi or rolls that barely fit in your mouth; no soy sauce or spicy mayo necessary. Just simple, fresh, buttery, delicious, superior quality sushi. Perfect!
