We made a reservation at Stella Artisan and I had looked at the reviews. Even though the reviews were good, it was not listed as one of Ridgewood's top 10. We arrived and Louis, our server, was so friendly and helpful. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We have eaten in many Ridgewood restaurants and found many expensive and just ok. Stella Artisan has a unique menu and very good food. The lobster tacos were outstanding and the entrees were also outstanding....

Food was off the chart. We split the zucchini sticks and they were amazing and crunchy. Came with two dipping sauces. Then we split two entrees. The short rib ravioli and the chicken piccata. Both were excellent. The only reason I have 4 stars was for how busy they were. Our server took our order, dropped food when it was ready and never checked in until it was time to pay. But we understand. There were only a few tables full when we started but it was a full house by the time...

Food was tasty - lobster nachos and spicy vodka were great. Buccatini sauce tasted a bit off and then I had food poisoning. I hate reviewing on that because it really can happen anywhere, but the service was also really rough. The wait staff barely came by and they seemed very overwhelmed. The hostess was super sweet but overall disappointing.
