I have anaphylactic food allergies to milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts, and they handled my food with confidence and ease. They did not make me feel ignored and the food was so fresh and delicious. I got the smoked salmon bowl with the strawberry smoothie and it was amazing!

Ordered a Mango Bowl and it was phenomenal. The cashier was very attentive to my allergies and request to modify the bowl as needed - he took the time and care to also make sure that all aspects were safe.Delicious and fantastic!

Horrible overall experience. My toast very clearly was stale so I mentioned it to the cashier and they refused to give me a fresh piece. If that wasn’t bad enough my bowl was missing chicken that I had paid extra for! The employee had a terrible attitude and did not treat the customers well at all. After paying all that money it’s a shame that neither the food or service made up for it. Will not be returning and I advise people to save their money!

I had a concerning experience while visiting this location in ridgewood, By all means I can say that the restaurant is pretty and well decorated and the food being ok-ish, but while I was eating in I heard some of the employees in the back making racist jokes and remarks, this was very concerning to me because I am from latin decent and just overall surprised me from what i heard, workers were talking about how different races looked, smelt and acted. I will not be returning mainly just because of how uncomfortable I felt in this situation. UPDATE: The owners decided to reply to this review claiming that I reviewed in retaliation and I was a ex employee who was released for “theft”, Now I am curious because I have never had any work experience in the food industry let alone this establishment, So id like to invite the “Owner” to reply to this review and please let my know what my name is and the timeframe in which did I work? Very interesting, Now I wonder how many lies and “Accusations” these owners have replied to in order to make them seem more professional.

I order from here a lot but this experience was absolutely unacceptable. I order 2 avocado roasts and an acai bowl. I totally forgot to add the gluten free bread for my toast because I have celiac and it is very dangerous for me to consume gluten. I get that forgetting to add that was on my part, but I called for them to switch the bread and within 5 minutes they finished the order and refused to do so. I am extremely allergic to gluten so they should at least take it into consideration. The guy on the phone had outrageous attitude. They told me that my order was already made and that I took too long, even though I looked up the number for this restaurant to call and i had to leave a message, and I had to contact Uber Help which took up to 5 minutes. The attitude with the person on the phone was so horrendous that I hope nobody has to go through that. Overall this experience was horrible and I don’t see myself ordering from here again.

Delicious bowls though $$. Loved the Asian ginger bowl - kimchi was legit though under ripe or made Japanese version) and pickled carrots were yummy. Pickled onions in bowls and atop avocado toast. And there is a diaper changing table in the bathroom!!!

I am so mad at myself for not discovering this place sooner! As you walk in, the atmosphere is bright, clean, and inviting! Looking at the menu it is not completely vegan. Although I have found myself eating a lot more plant-based meals, some of their food choices contain chicken and bacon. I ordered a salad bowl with buffalo chicken and avocado . The 1/2 avocado (yumm) was fresh and not mushy and old. They have soups and sandwiches and a lot of blended juices that you can choose from . I'm sure the acai is probably the most popular . I find this location is extremely convenient and located right on route 17 South. Look to your right before you hit the Lynnwood avenue exit. The store is located in the strip mall with the Starbucks. The owner Heather, greeted me and welcomed me. If you are looking for a clean, bright place to enjoy your meal with fresh ingredients, I recommend "Thorn and Roots very much!

Terrible experience. Management should teach cultural competency especially in this political era we are in. As a black woman my expectations are to receive services like all. My meal wasn’t made to order as the menu states, I had to get my own food( while others were served hand to hand ) and when I inquired about the missing item on my meal the young lady attempted to put the missing item on another plate where the menu clearly states it's meant to eat with the sandwich. Good customer services is not having the customer look puzzled when a justification for the error is not being fixed the correct way. Please treat people of color well. We too earn money and we too spend money.

My $20 salad was very pretty. It was not very delicious, and the avocado was not ripe But I saw something today after which I would never ever go back.The container with clean utensils had a very dirty fork in it. That's not the restaurant's fault; people should really read the sign. So, I pointed this out to one of the cashiers, and he went over to clean it after a few minutes. But rather than replacing all the forks, he just took out the dirty one and the one right next to it. The food residue had clearly contaminated all the forks!! But he didn't think to replace them. I checked before I left, and there was another dirty fork in the clean compartment that he missed.I'm not a germaphobe, but that is absolutely disgusting, and totally unsafe. I've left dozens and dozens of reviews, and I've never seen such carelessness with regards to health standards.
