The atmosphere was a bit gloomy. None of the employees looked happy and the elderly man walking around, I think was the owner, just added to it. The food was decent but a bit overpriced. French onion soup had onion skin in it. Coleslaw had an off taste. The gyro wrap was good and the Cuban panini was decent. At least they don't charge for refills.

Go past this diner every day, but never stopped in. Went here for breakfast because all my normal haunts were closed. Best thing to happen! Food was excellent, service was great, prices were good and the place was beautifully decorate for Christmas. My new favorite breakfast place.

Golden Star Diner in Ringoes, NJ has become our family Sunday brunch spot. The staff is always very friendly, service good and the food excellent.
