ONE 53 is a popular spot known for its delicious food and outstanding service. The Calamari, especially when grilled with crabmeat, and the fried chicken come highly recommended. The swordfish is also a standout, and the seafood risotto has received praise as well. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu. The service was excellent and it is a charming place in which to dine. Fabulous cocktails and delicious appetizers are offered. Wonderful specials include the steak and the pasta bolognese. Service was spectacular, very professional but friendly. Always a perfect experience from making the reservation to the meal, ambiance and staff. The watermelon salad was just what the doctor ordered. Fresh as it can be. The pork chop with French fries was cooked as ordered and was spectacular. A Manhattan cocktail rounds out the meal. It always has favorites yet adds new dishes. This lively atmosphere is great for a younger crowd. Overall, it is worth a visit for a meal in South Brunswick!
