Had a wonderful birthday dinner with the family downstairs in the wine room! Waiter's recs were spot on - everything was delicious. Especially the mussels, Brussels, flounder, and coconut dessert. Cocktails were okay. Looking forward to next time!

The hall is not very big, incredibly noisy. More like a noisy bar. There were a lot of people on Saturday. I was surprised that there was a valet working in the parking lot for several cars. Of course, it would be better for us to park the car ourselves in this ordinary village parking lot in the backyard of the restaurant. My husband and I ate different grilled fish, but the presentation was the same with fries and ketchup. The fish itself was cooked very tasty. For dessert we ate excellent, authentic French creme brulee. The portion was large, enough for two of us. Prices are moderate.Parking: The valet in this parking lot was definitely superfluous.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in NJ. Relaxed casual atmosphere. Wait staff and hosts could not be friendlier or more helpful. Food is fantastic --especially mussels with sausage, double-cut pork chop, fish of the day, Almond joy sorbet is a great way to finish the night.

First time here! Ambiance was wonderful. Service impeccable. Food outstanding. I had the flounder with broccolini. My husband had the ribeye special. Cocktails were on point. We went for my birthday and they made it memorable!

I am a One53 regular and typically enjoy the food and friendly staff. The staff is very accommodating and adjusts the meals to enable an enjoyable experience. Last night was as anticipated with great service. My recent low rating was based on 2 disappointing items. Firstly, the swordfish was dry and overcooked. Second is the ever soaring prices - particularly on most steak dishes (well north of $50) as well as pricing on simple dishes with simple sides (such as a small piece of fish with field greens and string french fries).

We've been to ONE53 several times, and this visit was every bit as good as the prior ones. It's a great place to relax with a great drink and a creative menu. The service is top notch! Definitely recommend!

Outstanding service! As someone who is gluten free, the staff worked well to help with meal selection. The calamari special was hands down the best calamari I have had. (I have had my fair share)! I would highly recommend a stop if in the area. Great selection of seafood, red meat, and pasta.

We were dressed nicely, asked politely for two seats, there were vacant seats for dinner, but we were turned down saying they were full. No other explanations or how long the wait would be, if any. Goodbye forever!
Very good food, salmon starter pasta dishes and a chicken dish all very tasty. Desserts, especially the cheesecake with a chemical strawberry topping was oddly out of place and tried to ruin the evening but all in all the starters and mains carried the overall impression and we enjoyed ourselves.

Outstanding service. But at the price points, the food was below par. Hard to detect the gin & tequila in our 2 cocktails. Burger was perfectly cooked. Bouillabaisse stock was not as rich as it should be nor did it seem right that it was filled out with potatoes. Sweetbreads were outstanding. Overall an average score for this pricey spot.
