Went to this brewery in 2022 and forgot to write a review. Owner is extremely knowledgeable about the beer he makes. He’s a beer scientist. Went with my ex girlfriend and had a fun time with Trivia. Bartender and owners were very nice with accommodating us. The only reason this is not five stars is because the establishment itself could use some TLC and design. If it was a legit bar that looked inviting then I’d visit more often. But as far as quality of beer it’s 5 stars.
Been doing some research, Climax Brewery is the Oldest Craft Brewery in NJ. Dave and his crew are making still making craft beer (German, English, Belgian styles) consistency and quality hasn’t changed since they opened. It only got better. One thing for sure, in this craft beer industry if you don’t have consistent quality coming out of your brewery you will closed. Dave has been doing his passion since 1996.
