Friendly staff and a decent atmosphere inside. The food, however, was bland. The jerk chicken I ordered wasn’t authentic and tasted like it had simply been thrown into an oven. The flavors were mediocre, and there was a slight aftertaste suggesting the chicken may not have been freshly made that day. The rice and candied yams were good. I also had a codfish fritter, which tasted mostly like fried dough. Prices are a little high for what you get, and I don’t like establishments...
This place is unfortunately inconsistent. I have previously ordered from this place before and havent had any issues. Today, I ordered their jerk chicken wings to try. It came with 6 regular sized wings. Tell me how 4 of the wings were either burnt or extremely stale that I couldn't put a metal fork through the meat? The chicken was brown in color and hard like it was over fried to the point of being actually burnt and put in the jerk sauce. They were inedible. The other...
I had the privilege of enjoying a variety of tasty savory dishes at a catered event. The food was skillfully prepared and delicious. There were a variety of dishes to choose from: pasta and rice dishes, patties were perfectly done without being overly spicy. The owner, Rosemary, is a delight putting a lot of love and attention to detail into her cuisine.
