Love Cafe Matisse. We've been going to this place for a long time and it's consistently good. Food and service are top notch. Prix-Fixe menu is awesome. Being it's a BYOB it certainly is a plus. The outdoor sitting in the back is beautifully maintained and worth dining in on a beautiful day. I highly recommend Cafe Matisse.
Chef Greg is the man. You can tell how much love and care is put into each dish. The relaunch of this Rutherford staple was done way better than you could expect.

The miso cod didn’t quite meet expectations, as it seemed under‑marinated and not fully caramelized. The service was generally neutral, and we didn’t receive much attention at the table. I had hoped for a brief check‑in from the manager, who had been wonderful when arranging our outdoor garden seating.Overall we had good time.
