This place is outstanding, beautiful newly renovated bar area. Quiet elegant indoor dining room and even a nice romantic seating area out back. Everything ordered was delicious and surpassed all expectations.
The ambiance was beautiful. The esthetics and decor gave this restaurant a European feel. Excellent customer service, thank you Keith! The cocktails were delicious. I ordered the Chilean Seabass with lobster fried rice. It was absolutely delicious. However, the portion was so small that after dinner I went home and ate dinner and I am not a big eater. Overall a very cute romantic restaurant with delicious food.
We are local to Rutherford and love Matisse 167 so much that we decided to have our wedding there. Chef Greg and his team made the evening a night to remember. Our guests raved about the food. Out chosen entrees were miso cod and filet mignon, both of which were cooked to perfection! Our ceremony took place in their lovely garden, along with cocktail hour. We highly recommend booking your next event or date night at Matisse 167. You will not be disappointed!
